Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident who has lived with a custodial parent in Baltimore City for the last three years and has been enrolled in a public high school in the city for 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. Required documents for need-based financial aid must be filed in order to apply.

Elks National Foundation Most Valuable Student Award

Castle Ink Paperless Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be currently in college or planning to attend in the next year. Applicant must apply through one of the following ways: (1) use social media to post something about recycling and/how they reduce, reuse, and recycle; #CastleInk must be used within the post or (2) make something out of a used printer ink cartridge, laser toner, or old printer and take a picture of it and send to the sponsor.

Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident who is an adult student planning to attend a participating career college. Applicant must meet eligibility requirements of the college they choose to attend, be at least 19 years of age, and have a high school diploma/GED or have passed an Ability to Benefit test, not be a previous recipient of any other IAF scholarships or awards, and complete the NCCT Educational Success Potential Assessment.

Scholarship Incentive

National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship

Applicant must be a citizen, national, or permanent resident alien of the United States who is in the early stages of graduate study in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Eligibility is limited to applicants who have completed no more than 12 months of post-baccalaureate, full-time graduate study at the time of their application. Award is for up to three years over a five year period.

Tuition Exchange Scholarship

Applicant must be a family member or dependent of an employee at one of the approximately 625 participating Tuition Exchange colleges and universities.

Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 2

Applicant must be a high school senior or eligible for graduation and be of Hispanic or Latino heritage including the Philippines, Portugal and Brazil. Applicant must be willing to travel at one's own expense to attend the regional award ceremony.

Foreclosure.com Scholarship Program

Applicant must be a currently enrolled college student (graduate students, law students, and/or high school seniors are not eligible). Essay on the following topic required: "You've been tasked with analyzing two foreclosure properties to determine which one is a better investment. Many factors come into play, including cost, location, renovations (if necessary/desired) and local market conditions, among others. The goal is to maximize profit, whether it is a buy, hold or flip strategy over the short- and/or long-term. Please select a property, provide reasons that support the decision, detail your investment strategy, describe all that you would do (improvements, rehab, etc.) and how it would impact your potential bottom line. Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest
