Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will attend an accredited school in Vermont approved for federal Title IV funding. Financial need, school/community involvement and minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA required.


Josephine De Karman Fellowship

Award: $22,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be an undergraduate student entering their senior year, or Ph.D. candidate nearing completion of their degree (all requirements except for dissertation required by January 31). Applicant must be currently enrolled in a college or university in the United States. Preference may be given to doctoral students in the humanities.


Women's Western Golf Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1 (preliminary application); April 5 (final application)

Applicant must be a woman and a U.S. citizen. Selection is based upon academic achievement, financial need, excellence of character, and involvement with the sport of golf. Skill or excellence in the sport of golf is not a criterion.


National Physical Science Consortium Graduate Fellowship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: November 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is eligible to pursue graduate study at a participating NPSC-member university. Minimum 3.0 GPA, application, transcripts, GRE general exam scores, and three to five letters of recommendation required.


Academic Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 2 (fall only)

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and minimum combined SAT score of 1020 (composite ACT score of 22).


Lawrence Tech Scholarship

Award: $12,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, rank in top fifth of class, and have a minimum composite ACT score of 25.


Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarship

Brunswick Foundation Sons and Daughters Scholarship

Applicant must be a child of a Brunswick Corporation employee who has completed at least one year of service prior to the application deadline and is planning on enrolling in an accredited, non-profit, degree-granting college or university.


Foundation Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a member of a state, county, provincial, municipal, community, industrial, or federal fire department, must be interested in furthering his or her education in the fire sciences, and must submit application and statement of need. Selection is based upon need, desire, and initiative. Must be a member for two years of an emergency service organization (fire or emergency medical service).


Li Foundation Scholarship

Award: $21,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a Chinese student/scholar who wants to study or research in the U.S. Institutional applications/proposals are only accepted.


NIH Undergraduate Scholarship Program

Award: $20,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be enrolled or accepted as a full-time student at an accredited four-year undergraduate institution, be from a disadvantaged background, and have a minimum 3.5 GPA and rank top 5% of class. One year of paid research service to the NIH for each year of scholarship required.


NABA National Scholarship Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be a current or potential member of NABA of ethnic minority, be enrolled full-time in an United States college or university, and meet a minimum GPA. Personal statement, resume, two letters of recommendation and an essay are required to be submitted.


NSHMBA Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: May 2

Applicant must be a Hispanic U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Selection is based upon community service, academic achievement, and financial need.


Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a woman between the ages of 16 and 21 who is a Michigan resident attending or planning to attend a Michigan school and who is the daughter, granddaughter, or great-granddaughter of an American Legion Member or of someone who is eligible for American Legion membership. Selection is based upon transcripts, letters of recommendation, and financial need.


Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a legal resident of Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming, have a minimum 3.4 GPA, rank in top quarter of secondary school class, have a minimum composite ACT score of 24 (combined SAT I score of 1100), and submit essay, transcript, and letter of recommendation.


Vertical Flight Foundation Engineering Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be enrolled full time in an accredited engineering school and demonstrate interest in an engineering career in the vertical flight industry. Official transcript and academic endorsement from a professor are required to be submitted. Applications may be submitted in undergraduate, graduate, or Ph.D. categories in which the award may only be received once in each category by an individual.

HRA Educational Scholarship

Annie's Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship

Awarded to full-time undergraduate and graduate students studying at accredited two or four-year and focusing on studies in sustainable agriculture. International students may apply if they are studying at a U.S. school.


Higher Education Scholarship and AVT Scholarship

Applicant must be an enrolled member of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe and be able to demonstrate financial need. Applications must be complete with supporting documentation.


Presidential Scholarship for Distinguished Achievement

Selection based upon talent in theatre, music, dance, art, writing for publication, debate, leadership, entrepreneurship, or community service.


President's Honor Scholarship

Applicant must be an outstanding in-district senior who will graduate this year from a public high school in Washtenaw County. Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA or better on a 4.0 scale.

STEM Teachers Scholarship

Applicant must be actively pursuing an undergraduate degree, graduate degree, or credential/licensure for the purpose of teaching STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) subjects at a United States middle or secondary school. Applicant must be attending an accredited U.S. college or university. Graduate-level candidates must be currently enrolled in at least two semester equivalent classes; credential/licensure students must have completed a bachelor's degree in a STEM major.


New York Women in Communications Foundation Scholarships

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student who intends to pursue or further a career in communications.

Greenhouse Scholars

Applicant must be a high school senior who is a resident of Colorado, Illinois, or Georgia and are either a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. Minimum cumulative 3.5 GPA financial need (household annual income may not exceed $70,000) required. Applicant must demonstrate commitment to the community, an ability to persevere and leadership skills.


Odenza Marketing Group Volunteer Award

Award: $500, Deadline: December 30

Applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 22 who has contributed at least 50 hours of volunteer (non-paid) service within their community over the last 12 months. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.


Youth Volunteer Scholarship Award

Award: $500, Deadline: November 29

Applicant must be under the age of 21 who has completed a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer work over the past two years. Minimum 3.5 GPA and essay on the following topic required: Explain in less than 1,000 words why you have chosen to volunteer your time with the organization(s) that you have and how your experience has changed your life.
