Applicant must be a United States citizen and recent Ph.D. candidate or Ph.D. recipient within the last two years.

Awarded for research and study in New York or Germany on the social and intellectual history of German-speaking Jewry.

Stipend of $2,000 for minimum four week research period in New York. Monthly stipend of 975E or approximately $1,200 for Germany fellowship, for one to six months.
