Award: $10,000, Deadline: Last day of every month

Applicant must be a registered member of ScholarshipPoints.com. Chances of receiving the awards or odds of qualifying for additional scholarships are increased by taking surveys, reading blogs, and other easy activities. Applicant must be a high school, college, graduate, doctoral, transfer, non-traditional/adult learner, or other postgraduate student. Multiple drawings are held each month.

 

Monetary Award

Award: $4,968, Deadline: October 1

Applicant must be an Illinois resident who is attending an Illinois school. FAFSA and financial need are required.

 

North Carolina Student Incentive Grant

Award: $700, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a resident of North Carolina, demonstrate financial need, and be enrolled full-time at a school in North Carolina.

 

Tennessee Student Assistance Award

Award: $4,644, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Tennessee resident and United States citizen who is an undergraduate student pursuing their first degree and who is enrolled at least half-time at an eligible Tennessee post-secondary institution. Financial need is determined by FAFSA.

 

Minnesota State Grant

Award: $9,391, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a Minnesota resident attending a Minnesota college, be in the first four years of a post-secondary education, not be in default on a student loan, and be current in child support obligation. Financial need and satisfactory academic progress required to be demonstrated.

 

No Essay College Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: The last day of each month

Applicant must be a high school or college student or a student planning to enroll in school within 12 months. One individual will be randomly selected each month; applicants may apply monthly.

 

Coca-Cola Scholarship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident, temporary resident, refugee, asylee, Cuban-Haitian entrant, or an humanitarian parolee planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be an incoming freshman. Selection is based upon leadership, character, and merit.

 

Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB)

Award: $8,865, Deadline: None

Applicant must enlist in active Army. Individual must contribute $1,200, which is deducted from first year's pay. Award is for up to $985 per month for up to 36 academic months.

 

Montgomery GI Bill/Army College Fund

Award: $12,499, Deadline: None

Applicant must enlist in the active Army for specified critical military skills. Individual must contribute $1,200, which is deducted from first year's pay. Award is for up to $1,388 per month for up to 36 academic months.

 

Loan Repayment Program

Award: $3,500, Deadline: None

Applicant must enlist in the Army for three years. Award will repay up to $65,000 of federally insured student loans.

 

Vocational Rehabilitation for Disabled Veterans

Award: -, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a veteran with an honorable discharge from the military and have a compensable disability, which is connected to military service. Disability must be rated by the VA as 20% or higher. In certain limited cases, a disability with a lower VA rating may qualify. Applicant is evaluated to determine the need for services and develop a specific plan of services. Selection is based upon their need for vocational rehabilitation services. VA form 28-1900 must be submitted to the nearest VA regional office.

 

Voice of Democracy Scholarship

Award: $30,000, Deadline: October 31

Applicant must be a high school student who is able to write a three- to five-minute essay on an annual patriotic theme and record it on a good-quality audio cassette or CD. Selection is based upon delivery, originality, and content.

 

$2,500 Christian College Scholarship Drawing

Award: $2,500, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must be a high school junior or senior who plans to enroll for the first time as a full-time student at a Christ-centered Christian college or Bible college within 16 months of being notified that they have won the award. Completion of short survey is required.

 

Illinois Incentive for Access

Award: $500, Deadline: October 1

Applicant must demonstrate financial need, complete FAFSA, and attend an approved Illinois school.

 

Rhode Island State Grant

Award: $1,400, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Rhode Island resident, a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen, demonstrate financial need, and file the FAFSA. Applicant must be enrolled at least part time in a degree or certificate program.

 

South Carolina Tuition Grants

Award: $2,600, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a qualified South Carolina resident attending as a full-time student an eligible South Carolina Independent College who applies annually by submitting the FAFSA. Applicant must demonstrate financial need using the federal methodology. Award is for fall and spring semesters only (no summer school).

 

TOPS - Performance Award

Award: $4,406, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a Louisiana resident or the child of a parent who has been a Louisiana resident for at least two years prior to high school graduation. Applicant must be receiving a diploma from a public or state-approved private high school and have completed 17.5 units of core curriculum courses with a minimum 3.0 GPA over the core courses only. Minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1060 or composite ACT score of 23 required. FAFSA must be filed between January 1 and July 1, 2012 (for 2011 high school graduates). Alternate eligibility requirements for home-schooled and Louisiana applicants from out-of-state schools.

 

TOPS - Opportunity Award

Award: $4,006, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a Louisiana resident or the child of a parent who has been a Louisiana resident for at least two years prior to high school graduation. Applicant must be receiving a diploma from a public or state-approved high school, have completed 17.5 units of core curriculum courses with a minimum 2.5 GPA over the core courses only, and have scored a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 940 or a composite ACT score of 20. FAFSA must be filed between January 1 and July 1, 2012 (for 2011 high school graduates). Alternate eligibility requirements issued for home-schooled and Louisiana applicants from out-of-state high schools.

 

TOPS - Honors Award

Award: $4,806, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a Louisiana resident or the child of a parent who has been a Louisiana resident for at least two years prior to high school graduation. Applicant must be receiving a diploma from a public or state-approved high school and have completed 17.5 units of core curriculum courses with a minimum 3.0 GPA over the core courses only. Minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1210 or composite ACT score of 27 required. FAFSA must be filed between January 1 and July 1, 2012 (for 2011 high school graduates). Alternate eligibility requirements for home-schooled and Louisiana applicants from out-of-state high schools.

 

TOPS - Tech Award

Award: $1,688, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a Louisiana resident or the child of a parent who has been a Louisiana resident for at least two years prior to high school graduation. Applicant must be receiving a diploma from a public or state-approved high school and have completed TOPS Opportunity 17.5 option or TOPS Tech 17 (option 1) or TOPS Tech 19 (option 2) core curriculum units with a minimum 2.5 GPA over the core courses only. Minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 810 (composite ACT score of 17) required. FAFSA must be filed between January 1 and July 1, 2012 (for 2011 high school graduates). Alternate eligibility requirements for home-schooled and Louisiana applicants from out-of-state high schools.

 

Ronald McDonald House Charities U.S. Scholarship Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: January 21

Applicant must be a high school senior and eligible to attend a two- or four-year college, university or vocational/technical school with a complete course of study. Application and documentation are required to be submitted. Selection is based upon demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and community involvement. Eligibility requirements for specific awards: RMHC/ASIA: Applicant must have at least one parent of Asian-Pacific heritage. RMHC/Future Achievers: Applicant must have at least one parent of African-American or Black Caribbean heritage. RMHC/HACER: Applicant must have at least one parent of Hispanic heritage. RMHC/Scholars: All students are eligible to apply regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability, or national origin.

Applicant must be planning to attend a previously unattended college or university. Scholarship is awarded through random drawings to give each applicant an equal chance of winning. Award must be used within five years of receiving the money.

Applicant must enlist in the Army Reserve for six years. Award is up to $282 per month for up to 36 academic months.

 

New Hampshire Incentive Program

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a New Hampshire resident, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, attend a NEASC-accredited New England school, and demonstrate financial need.

 

South Carolina Tuition Grant

Award: $3,150, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a resident of South Carolina for at least 12 months, be enrolled full time, and be able to demonstrate financial need. Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT score of 900, rank in top three-quarters of class, or have a final high school cumulative GPA of 2.0 on South Carolina uniform grading scale.

 

Kansas Comprehensive Grant

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a Kansas resident, attend an eligible Kansas institution, be a full-time student, and demonstrate financial need.

 

University of California, Davis Scholarship

Award: $10,500, Deadline: November 30

 

University of California, Santa Cruz Grant

Award: $21,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be accepted to the university and have financial need.

 

University Scholarship

Award: $24,000, Deadline: November 1 (early decision/early action); January 15 (regular decision)

Applicant must be a full-time student who is able to demonstrate significant academic achievement above and beyond the average academic profile of a student admitted in the university's freshman class. Minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1350 (composite ACT score of 31) required in order to receive consideration.

 

Trustee Scholarship

Award: $11,000, Deadline: November 1 (early decision/early action); January 15 (regular decision)

Applicant must be a full-time student who is able to demonstrate significant academic achievement above and beyond the average academic profile of a student admitted in the university's freshman class. Minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1350 (composite ACT score of 31) required in order to receive consideration.
