Applicant must be a medical student obtaining a M.D. or D.O. degree. Applicant must have established permanent ties to Broome County, NY, and be attending an accredited medical or osteopathic institution in the United States or Canada.

Recipient is required to repay the interest-free loan within five years of completion of medical training (residency, fellowship, etc.).

Awarded based upon annual applications.
