Applicant must be a member or spouse or dependent of a member of an AFL-CIO union participating in any of the Union Programs, must have one continuous year of good standing union membership, must be accepted into an accredited college, university, community college, or recognized technical or trade school, and should demonstrate academic achievement and potential, character, leadership, social awareness, career goals, and financial need.
