Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents who are rising undergraduate seniors who have at least one more semester (or two more quarters) of coursework remaining before graduation. They must be interested in public service careers and must have a demonstrated interest in policy issues that affect underserved populations. They must have overcome obstacles in their pursuit of higher education. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
