Grand Rapids Combined Theatre Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must demonstrate ability, talent, and dedication to the theatre arts, be pursuing an education in theatre arts, and have worked in the Grand Rapids, Mich.. area community theatre. Preference is given to theatre arts majors. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

Walter C. Winchester Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be graduating from Central High School, City High School, Ottawa Hills High School, or Union High School, with a minimum 3.3 GPA. Selection is based upon academic achievement, extracurricular activities, personal statement, and financial need.

 

Raymond P. Elliott, PE, U of Michigan Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: First Monday in January

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a Grand Rapids/southwestern Michigan resident, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum composite ACT score of 26, and demonstrate intent to enter the engineering field after graduation. Selection is based upon high school record, extracurricular activities, essay, recommendations, and evidence of leadership, character, and self-reliance.

 

Highland Chrysler-Plymouth Jeep Eagle Dealership Annual Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Awarded to student from the Grand Rapids (MI) area.

 

Elmo Wierenga Alumni Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a senior graduating from Ottawa Hill High School in Grand Rapids, MI, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Applicant must be a full-time student at a two- or four-year institution or vocational program. Selection is based upon academic achievement, personal statement, co-op job located in Kent or Ottawa counties, and financial need.

 

Fred & Lena Meijer Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a Meijer Team Member or child (natural, legally adopted, or step-child) of a Meijer Team Member who has been employed for a minimum of one year at the time of the application deadline. Children of Team members must be full-time students to apply, while Meijer team member applicants may be part-time students.
