Student Government Scholarship

Applicant must be a United States citizen or permanent resident who is seeking a four-year undergraduate or graduate degree part-time with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Letter of recommendation from instructor, employer, or advisor is required.

 

Indian River Community College Depan Transfer Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be transferring from Indian River Community College. Selection is based upon outstanding academic achievement and honors program participation or identification as a Community College Scholar. English proficiency and community service must be demonstrated. Minimum 3.0 GPA and full-time enrollment are required.

 

Hicks Scholarship

Church Matching

$1 for $1 match for all Baptist Churches. $1 for $3 match for all non-Baptist Churches.

 

Foreign Missionary Grant

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 1

Selection is based upon standardized test scores. Dependant children of full-time, active foreign missionaries letter of appointment required.

 

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student who is a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

 

Transfer Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student who has completed a minimum of 45 quarter-cred hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Alpha Beta Gamma Scholarship

Applicant must be a transfer student who is a member of Alpha Beta Gamma. Selection based upon recommendation of chapter faculty advisor and college transcript.

 

Presidential Academic Scholarship

Award: $7,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 3.75 GPA and a minimum combined SAT I score of 1140 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Memorial Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 20.

 

Eisenhower Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 22.

 

Honor Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate who has completed at least 30 credit hours and is able to maintain a minimum 3.7 GPA.

 

Advanced Study Tuition Grant (ASTG)

Award: $9,000, Deadline: July 1 (Fall); November 1 (Spring)

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, have completed at least 32 credit hours before transferring, and be enrolled full time.

 

Martin Luther King Jr. Grant

Award: $3,700, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be economically disadvantaged and enrolled full time. Freshman applicant must have a minimum 85 grade average. Upperclass applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA.

 

Educational Achievement Award

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must fail to qualify for HEOP or Martin Luther King Jr. Grants, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate financial need.

 

Trustees' Scholarship

Talent Scholarships

Applicant must be a participant throughout the year in one of the following programs: art, creative writing, music, theatre. Auditions and portfolios are required. It is not a requirement to be a major in any of those programs.

 

Baldwin Scholarship

Selection is based upon standardized test scores and cumulative GPA. Applicant must be enrolled full time in traditional degree program.

 

Centennial Scholarship

Applicant must have minimum ACT score of 28.

 

University Scholar Award

Applicant must have minimum composite ACT score of 25.

 

Dean's Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: February 15

Guaranteed award for accepted students who fits into one of the two academic profiles: 1.) Have a a SAT Reasoning score between 1050 and 1090 (composite ACT score between 22 and 23) with a minimum 2.75 GPA or 2.) Have a minimum SAT Reasoning score of 950 (composite ACT score of 21) with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Proficiency Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate talent in art, communications, music, or theatre arts. Audition (music and theatre arts) or portfolio (art and communications) required.

 

Leadership Award

Applicant must meet one of the following criteria: be in top tenth of employer's formal training course with at least 40 contact hours, consistently perform above expected level and receive special recognition for performance, be the recipient of professional or military recognition award, or demonstrate exceptional perseverance and determination to excel despite social or economic disadvantages.
