Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT score of 1310 (composite ACT score of 30) and demonstrate exceptional academic ability in prior high school or college academic work.

 

Callendar Chemistry Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: February 14

Applicant must demonstrate strong academic performance and intent to pursue a career in pharmacy, pharmacology, or related chemical science, with the goal of a graduate degree in pharmacy or other appropriate field, or direct entry into a related career.

 

Computer Science, Engineering, and Math Scholarship

Haskell Computer Science Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be accepted in the Teacher Education Program, have the recommendation of an instructor, and demonstrate prior professional training in serving the disabled. Applicant must submit letter describing career goals and concern for and experience with the disabled.

 

First Generation Student Grant

Davis Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 high school GPA (3.5 GPA for transfer students) or a minimum composite ACT score of 27 (SAT scores are converted to ACT scores).

 

Dean's Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA (3.0 GPA for transfer students) and a minimum composite ACT score of 23 (SAT scores are converted to ACT scores).

 

Honors Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 high school GPA (2.5 GPA for transfer students) and a minimum composite ACT score of 20 (SAT scores are converted to ACT scores).

 

Hawaii Veterans Memorial Fund Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 (freshmen/sophomore) or minimum 2.75 (junior/senior) GPA.

 

Hiroo Sato Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 (freshmen) or 2.7 (continuing) GPA and demonstrate financial need.

 

Church Matching Award

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is a member of a Christian church that donates scholarship money to the applicant. University will match dollar-for-dollar up to $1,000 of what the church donates.

 

Ministerial Dependents Grant

Applicant must be the dependent child of an ordained Baptist minister or missionary. Proof of ordination and current full-time ministry are required to be submitted.

 

National Amateur Baseball Federation Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and in good standing. Applicant must be a current participant in a league properly sanctioned and sponsored by a National Amateur Baseball Federation member association.

 

ASB President's Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Students who run for offices of the Associated Student Body are considered for this award as well. FAFSA is required by March 2 of each year.

 

Alan Pattee Fee Waiver

Award: $2,500, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a child of a deceased public law enforcement or fire suppression employee who has not been charged with mandatory system-wide fees at any California State University campus if their parent was a California resident and was killed in the line of duty.

 

Albert and Mildred VanDuzer Scholarship

Applicant must be a currently enrolled full-time student majoring or active in the visual and performing arts.

 

Associated Students Campus Community Service Scholarship

Applicant must be a currently enrolled full-time student with a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA, who is an active participant in community service activities, and will be returning to the university next year. Eligibility for financial aid is required.

 

General College Scholarship Program

Applicant must be a college student who is a United States citizen or legal permanent resident and is of Hispanic heritage. Applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam.

 

Homer Balabanis Memorial Scholarship in Economics

Applicant must be an economics major with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Barbara Merrill Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of California with a minimum 2.5 GPA. All students who complete a FAFSA by March 2 will automatically be considered for the award.

 

Helen Barnum Forestry Scholarship

Applicant must be a forestry major with a minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need. All students who file a FAFSA by March 2 will automatically be considered for the award.

Briggs Distributing Co., Inc./John and Claudia Decker Endowed Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to children of Briggs Distributing Co., Inc. employees.

 

Jane Buttrey Memorial Scholarship

National Junior Red Angus Association Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior or college underclassman who is a current, active member of the National Junior Red Angus Association.

 

Big Y Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Applicant must attend school or have their permanent residence in western or central Massachusetts, Norfolk County, MA, or the state of Connecticut. Applicant must be planning to attend an accredited college or university. Selection is based upon transcript of grades, college board scores, letters of recommendation, and personal resume.
