Fletcher & Fritzi Hoffman Educational Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be a long-time resident of the Hamakua coast on the island of Hawaii and plan to attend school on the island of Hawaii. Preference given to Honoka'a High School graduates.

 

Charles Grossman Graduate Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 7

Applicant must be an active ICSC member (includes student membership) who is or who will be a graduate degree-seeking candidate enrolled in the upcoming fall academic term at an accredited college or university. Applicant must be working full-time and show dedication to the industry with a proven track record of involvement and participation. Minimum overall 3.0 GPA required.

 

George & Augusta Rapozo Kama'aina Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be a graduate of a Kaua'i or Ni'ihau high school or charter school. Preference given to Ni'ihau residents.

Award: $1,500, Deadline: December 31

Applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. 17 years of age or older who is currently enrolled in, or plants to start a program of higher education within the next 12 months. Applicant may be a full- or part-time student and attend a campus-based or online program.

 

John F. Duffy Scholarship/Grant Program

Award: $4,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be a survivor of a peace officer killed in the line of duty (spouse, child, stepchild, adopted child) and enrolled on the California Peace Officers' Memorial Monument. Applicant must be enrolled in the fall semester of the current year, carry a minimum of six units per quarter or eight units per semester, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and provide sealed copies of their most recent transcript.

 

Earl Warren Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a college graduate who has not yet enrolled in law school.

Applicant must be currently enrolled and have completed at least one year of occupational therapy specific coursework in an AOTA accredited or developing post-professional level program, or be enrolled in an occupational therapy assistant program, have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement, two personal references, and a statement from the program director. Applicant must be pursuing a post-baccalaureate degree, and this must be the first degree in occupational therapy.

Applicant must be currently enrolled and have completed at least one year of occupational therapy specific coursework in an AOTA accredited or developing post-professional level program, or be enrolled in an occupational therapy assistant program, have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement, two personal references, and a statement from the program director. Applicant must be a resident of New York currently enrolled and have completed at least one year of occupational therapy specific coursework in an AOTA accredited or developing post-professional level program, or be enrolled in an occupational therapy assistant program, have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement, two personal references, and a statement from the program director. Applicant must be pursuing a post-baccalaureate degree, and this must be the first degree in occupational therapy.

National Potato Council Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate student who is pursuing advanced studies in agribusiness that supports the potato industry. Selection is based upon past academic achievement, leadership abilities and potato-related areas of graduate study (i.e. agricultural engineering, agronomy, crop and soil science, entomology, food sciences, horticulture, plant pathology, etc.).

 

Shirley Elings Memorial

Applicant must be an Oregon Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) currently enrolled and have completed at least one year of occupational therapy specific coursework in an AOTA accredited or developing post-professional level program, or be enrolled in an occupational therapy assistant program, have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement, two personal references, and a statement from the program director. Ruth Peterson Memorial (Kappa Chapter of Pi Theta Epsilon)

Applicant must be currently enrolled in the occupational therapy program at the University of North Dakota, and completed at least one year of occupational therapy specific coursework, have a sustained record of outstanding scholastic achievement, two personal references, and a statement from the program director. Adelaide Ryerson Smith Memorial Award

Applicant must be an Arizona resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in the state of Arizona. Applicant must be a member of the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association.

 

The Florence Wood Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be an Arkansas resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in Arkansas.

 

District of Columbia Association Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a resident of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area (DC, MD, and northern VA) enrolled in the occupational therapy educational program at Howard University. Applicant must also be a member of the District of Columbia Occupational Therapy Association.

 

Kansas Association Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited or developing occupational therapy program, and a member of the Kansas Occupational Therapy Association.

 

Starfleet Academy Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be an active STARFLEET member who has been a member for at least one year on June 30 of the year applying and who is attending a community college, four-year college/university, technical school, junior college, or graduate school.

 

Louisiana Association Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a Louisiana resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in Louisiana at the professional level.

 

The Karen Jacobs Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a Massachusetts resident enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program in Massachusetts (One $500 scholarship for the professional level, one $250 scholarship for an occupational therapy assistant program). Applicant must also be a member of the Massachusetts Association for Occupational Therapy.

 

Michigan Association Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: December 4

Applicant must be a member of the Michigan Occupational Therapy Association who is enrolled in an accredited occupational therapy educational program (one scholarship for professional degree level, one for associates degree level).

 

Varian Radiation Therapy Advancement Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be an ASRT member who holds an unrestricted state license or is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent certifying body) who has applied to or is currently attending an accredited degree or certificate program to further their career in the radiation therapy field, and will not finish until after September 1, 2012.

 

Siemens Clinical Advancement Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be an ASRT member who holds an unrestricted state license or is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent certifying body) who has applied to or is currently attending an accredited degree or certificate program to enhance their clinical practice skills in medical imaging, and will not finish until after September 1, 2012.

 

Medical Imaging Educators Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 30

Applicant must be an ASRT member who holds an unrestricted state license or is registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (or equivalent certifying body) who has applied to or is currently attending an accredited degree or certificate program to enhance their position as a program director, faculty member, clinical coordinator or clinical instructor, and will not finish until after September 1, 2012.

 

L'Oreal Canada For Women in Science

Award: $20,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a female Canadian citizen or permanent resident who is already engaged in pursuing research at the post-doctoral level.
