Preference given to students who are residents of or attending schools in the following states: AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, LA, VA, AK, TX, MS, KY, MD, MO, OK, WV.

 

Zov's Bistro Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate who is currently enrolled or plans to enroll at a licensed or accredited culinary school.

 

IDDBA Undergraduate/Graduate Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 1; April 1; July 1; October 1

Applicant must be a high school senior, current college student, or returning college student studying a food-related field such as culinary arts, baking, business, food science, or marketing. Must be an employee of an IDDBA-member company (check qualifying companies here www.iddba.org) and work at least 13 hours a week. Minimum 2.5 GPA, transcript, and letter of reference required.

 

The Ryan Wells Scholarship

Applicant must be a Pinellas County student who has completed at least three semesters of culinary courses and will be pursuing a Culinary Arts or Hospitality degree from a college, university, or vocational-technical school. Minimum 2.5 GPA, essay, extracurricular activities, and teacher recommendations required.

 

John Schwartz Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: Open

Applicants must have been Washington State residents for at least two years, be enrolled in a Washington State accredited culinary or winemaking arts program and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

 

Russ Casey/Maine Restaurant Associates Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 28

Applicants must be Maine residents. They must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in a degree program relating to hospitality, restaurant management, hotel management or culinary arts. Preference will be given to students who are attending school in Maine. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

CANFIT Scholarships

Applicants must be African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian American, Pacific Islander or Latino/Hispanic students enrolled in a California university or culinary arts school. Undergraduate students must be in a nutrition, physical education or culinary arts program. Graduate students must be enrolled in a nutrition, public nutrition, physical education or American Dietetic Association Approved Pre-professional Practice program. Minimum GPA requirement for graduate students is 3.0 and for undergraduates is 2.5.
