Scholarships in Umatilla

Mildred I. Martignone Nurse Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of District 7, Oregon Nurses Association, Umatilla County (cities of Adams, Athena, Cayuse, Dale, Gibbon, Helix, Meacham, Milton-Freewater, Pendleton, Pilot Rock, Rieth, Sunnyside, Ukiah, Umapine, and Weston) who is entering their final year of an accredited nursing program at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Umatilla County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Morrow or Umatilla County high school who will be enrolling as a college sophomore or above in an agriculture-related field at Blue Mountain Community College, Eastern Oregon University, Oregon State University, University of Idaho, or Washington State University. FAFSA and essay required.

 

Umatilla Electric Cooperative Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant or applicant's spouse or parents/legal guardians must be active members of the Umatilla Electric Cooperative (UEC) and be receiving service from UES at their primary residence. Applicant must be a graduate of a high school in Morrow or Umatilla County. FAFSA required.

 

Umatilla Electric Cooperative - Electrical Engineering Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Morrow, Umatilla, or Union County who will be enrolling as a college sophomore or above in electrical engineering at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.

 

Flora M. Von Der Ahe Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of an Umatilla County high school. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 GPA required. U.S. Bank employees, their children, and near relateives are not eligible.

 

Tichi-Groom Fund

Award: $300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate from a Walla Walla or Umatilla County high school whose parents are in fire-fighting service, paid or volunteer, or city/county law enforcement.
