Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Easterm States Exposition Scholarship

Preference is given to applicant who has participated in the Eastern States Exposition.

 

Iowa Farm Bureau Federation Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college, or if still in high school, must have an expected graduation date in the spring. College applicants must be working toward a degree in either agriculture and/or agribusiness. Must be the son/daughter of an Iowa Farm Bureau member.

Applicant must be a student residing in Lorain County. Field of study preference for, but not limited to, agriculture, animal science, or veterinary medicine. Financial need and academic performance considered. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required. Award amount determined by committee.

Applicant must be a resident of the Hilo and Hamakua coasts and be majoring in agriculture, medicine, science or nursing.

 

John Deere Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be an undergraduate student wishing to pursue a career in an agricultural-related industry. Essay, two letters of recommendation, official transcript, student aid report, and financial aid award letters are required to be submitted.

 

Umatilla County Cattlemen's Association Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Morrow or Umatilla County high school who will be enrolling as a college sophomore or above in an agriculture-related field at Blue Mountain Community College, Eastern Oregon University, Oregon State University, University of Idaho, or Washington State University. FAFSA and essay required.

 

Edward F. Fields Memorial Fund

Award: $300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate from Walla Walla County who participated in 4-H or FFA and will attend Washington State University with interest in livestock, veterinary medicine or extension services.

 

Jim Kibler Agriculture Fund

Award: $300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be attending a college or vocational agri-business program in anticipation of a career in agricultural marketing, agricultural management, agriculture technology, animal sciences, farming or natural resources management.

 

John W. Landis Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Wayne County high school who will pursue post-secondary education in the field of agriculture, animal husbandry, forestry, home and farm economic, horticulture or solid and water conservation full-time. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

B.R.I.D.G.E. Endowment Fund FFA Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be current FFA members and high school seniors or college students planning to enroll or currently enrolled full-time. They must be physically disabled or handicapped.
