Annie's Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship

Awarded to full-time undergraduate and graduate students studying at accredited two or four-year and focusing on studies in sustainable agriculture. International students may apply if they are studying at a U.S. school.

Applicant must use grant to fund projects that demonstrate a balance between innovative technological advancements and preservation of the environment.

 

NPFDA Scholarship Foundation Award

Applicant must be a full-time student (junior or senior status during award year) attending an accredited college or university in the United States pursuing an agriculture, agribusiness, animal, poultry or food-science or related degree.

 

Vermont Feed Dealers and Manufacturers Association Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue a degree in a field related to agriculture at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding.

 

Spring Meadow Nursery Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate landscape horticulture program or related discipline at a two or four-year institution. Students in vocational agriculture programs will also be considered. Applicant must be currently enrolled in good standing and carry full-time course load at the time of application and during the semesters for which the scholarship is granted. Preference will be given to applicants who plan to work within the industry (including nursery operation, landscape architecture/design/construction/maintenance, interiorscape, horticultural distribution, or retail garden center) following graduation. Must complete application online.

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or enrolled in an accredited college/business/trade school. Applicant must have been a Ventura County resident for a minimum of three preceding years and who shows school community involvement.

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant attending an Alberta post-secondary institution as per Alberta Scholarship Programs regulations. Applicant must be enrolled in the second or subsequent year of post-secondary study and taking courses with an emphasis on crop production and/or crop processing technology.

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

Iowa Farm Bureau Federation Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or community college, or if still in high school, must have an expected graduation date in the spring. College applicants must be working toward a degree in either agriculture and/or agribusiness. Must be the son/daughter of an Iowa Farm Bureau member.
