The State Need Grant (SNG) program helps the state's lowest-income undergraduate students pursue degrees, hone skills, or retrain for new careers. Idaho State Broadcasters Association Scholarships

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an Idaho college or university, have exhibited superior potential in activities or courses related to broadcasting and be respected among their peer groups. Students must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher in the first two years of college and a GPA of 2.5 in the last two years.

Iowa Newspaper Association Scholarships

Applicants must be Iowa residents who are high school seniors or current college students and must attend an in-state college or university. Students must plan to work in the newspaper industry in Iowa upon completion of their degrees.

Students must be working toward a career in the radio industry. Preference is given to students with a history of radio-related activities and those pursuing careers in commercial radio.

Maine Innkeepers Association Hospitality Scholarships

Applicants must be Maine residents and accepted to an accredited institution of higher learning with specialties in hotel administration or culinary sciences. Students must plan to begin a career in hospitality upon completion of their degrees.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be actively involved in neonatal nursing at the professional level. They cannot have received a grant or scholarship from the FNRE within the past five years, and they cannot be current members of the FNRE Scholarship Committee or Board. Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Conservation Scholarship

Applicants must be Arkansas residents who are high school seniors or undergraduate or graduate-level college students. They must have a GPA of 2.5 or above and must be planning to pursue a career in natural resources conservation. They cannot have received full scholarship or grant funding from another source. Selection is based on the standardized scoring of each application as a whole.

Aviation Insurance Association Education Foundation Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in aviation at a school that is a member of the University Aviation Association (UAA). They must have completed at least 45 units of coursework in their degree program, 15 or more of which must be for aviation courses. They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Students must also currently be an intern or recently have completed an internship program within the aviation insurance industry in one of the following areas: agent/broker, underwriter, claims professional or attorney. Awards are given in the spring and fall.
