Buerkle Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Jackson, Klamath, or Josephine County high school who will pursue a degree in english, journalism, math, music or physical education at a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required. Preference given to nontraditional students attending a college in Oregon with a 3.6 GPA or higher.

 

Congressman Peter DeFazio Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a dislocated worker residing in Oregon's Fourth Congressional District (Benton, Coos, Curry, Douglas, Josephine, Lane, and Linn) who will enroll at least half time at Lane, Linn-Benton, Rogue, Southwestern Oregon, or Umpqua Community College. FAFSA required.

 

Sherman and Wanda Olsrud Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school in Douglas, Jackson, Josephine, or Klamath county who will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 2.5 maximum 3.75 GPA required.

 

Olsrud 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA) Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school in Douglas, Jackson, Josephine, or Klamath County who has participated in a 4-H or FFA program for two or more years during high school and will attend a public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA, essay and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

P.E.O. Jean Fish Gibbons Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a female graduate of a Jackson, Josephine, or Klamath County high school who will enroll as a college junior or above at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA and minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Southern Oregon Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Curry, Harney, Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, or Malheur County high school who will major in architecture at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university. FAFSA required.
