Study Abroad Scholarship

Award: $2,200, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a student making satisfactory progress toward an undergraduate degree who plans to spend a summer or semester studying outside of the United States as part of their academic program.

 

Craid, Fitzsimmons & Michaels Accounting Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum of 30 credits completed at Dowling College. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

Direct Marketing Day Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in the core marketing classes and must demonstrate academic promise.

 

Stanley and Charlotte Gertz Endowed Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must be at least 25 years old, have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled for at least six credits. Selection is based upon financial need.

 

University Academic Scholarship

Selection based upon academic achievement.

 

ROTC Award (Dormitory Award)

Applicant must be a dormitory resident. Selection is based upon academic achievement.

 

Academic Merit Award

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be enrolled full time, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and a combined SAT score of 1350 (composite ACT score of 19).

 

Talent Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a full-time student. Selection is based upon portfolio reviews and/or auditions.

 

Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Facilities Scholarship

Award: $380, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must have at least 12 credits. Selection is based upon academic record, campus activities, community service, career goals, and letters of recommendation.

 

Class of 1962 Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in major courses and must have completed 30 credits.

 

Sibling Award

Award: $1,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be part of a family where two siblings are attending Cedar Crest full-time, concurrently.

 

Heritage Award

Award: $2,000, Deadline: None

Applicant must be a full-time student with a relative who is a graduate of Cedar Crest College.

 

Presidential Scholarship

Applicant must have a high academic profile.

 

Caterpillar Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15

Preference will be given to dependents of Caterpillar, Inc. employees. If funding allows, applicants majoring in business, who live in the Decatur geographic area, who have demonstrated a financial need and a high potential for academic success, may be considered. Recipients must be admitted to Millikin University and must complete the scholarship application by February 15.

 

Alumni/Legacy Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate who can demonstrate a parent, grandparent, or great-grandparent relationship to Millikin University alumnus.

 

Sibling Scholarship

Applicant must have a sibling concurrently enrolled at Millikin.

 

Transfer Scholarship

Applicant must have an associate degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be a Trustee Scholar recipient who is able to demonstrate an exceptionally strong academic record and substantial extracurricular involvement and community service.

Awarded to the most academically outstanding student selected from Trustee Scholar recipients who attended an on-campus recognition day.

 

Faculty Scholarship

Applicant must rank in the top 15% of class and have a minimum 3.5 GPA in core academic subjects.

 

President's Leadership Awards

Award: $12,000, Deadline: January 1

Applicant must demonstrate a strong academic record, sustained leadership credentials, and high motivation.

 

Art Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: January 1

Awarded to students with outstanding talents in one of the following areas: dance, music, studio art, or writing. Finalists are selected and must attend an audition/portfolio review day on campus in February. Majoring in dance, music, studio art, or writing, is not required, but recipient is expected to participate in at least one of those areas on campus.

 

Transfer Excellence Scholarships

Award: $19,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must have earned at least 45 semester hours of transferable college credit and a cumulative transfer grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale at the time of application.

 

Family Grant

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must come from a family with two or more children concurrently registered as full time dependent students, pursuing their first undergraduate degree, the older sibling(s) is eligible for a grant.

 

NDTA Scott /St. Louis Chapter Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school student who lives in Illinois or Missouri; college student applicants must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited institution in a state within the NDTA's Central Region (CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, SD, WI, WY). Award looks to promote careers in business, physical distribution, and transportation logistics.

 

International Student Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time international student with a minimum of 30 credit hours and minimum 2.75 GPA.
