Fund for American Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 15 (summer); July 31 (fall); November 15 (spring)

Applicant must plan to attend one of three seven-week summer institutes or 16-week semester institute.

 

Philip and Alice Angell Eastern Star Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue a degree in business or education at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Financial need and minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA required.

 

Kittredge Coddington Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue a degree in business or a related field at an accredited school in Vermont approved for federal Title IV funding.

 

American Institute for Economic Research Fellowship - Summer Program

Award: $3,480, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be a graduating senior applying to a doctoral program in economics or a student currently enrolled in such a program. Students who have successfully completed at least one summer fellowship, demonstrate potential for development as an economic scientist, and are enrolled in an accredited graduate degree program may be awarded a Fellowship In Absentia for study at the college or university of their choice following the summer fellowship. Resume, personal statement, reference letters, writing sample, and official transcript(s) are required to be submitted.

 

New York Financial Writers Association Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be attending a school in the New York City metropolitan area and show interest in becoming a business journalist.

 

Michaels Jewelers Foundation High School Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Connecticut resident.

 

Jedidiah Zabrosky Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue a degree in business or education at a Vermont state college and is currently employed (minimum 10 hours/week). Financial need, community involvement, and minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

 

Hong Kong Association of Northern California Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a bilingual (Chinese/English) undergraduate or graduate student in the SFSU College of Business or Economics. Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and be able to demonstrate financial need and academic excellence.

 

Paul Gallagher Entrepreneurial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Chittenden County, VT who will pursue a degree in business or a related field at an accredited school approved for federal Title IV funding. Academic achievement and community involvement must be demonstrated.

 

Hisaji Onoye Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: January 5

Applicant must be a resident of Hawaii. Preference will be given to a local high school graduate or a dependent undergraduate student; last priority is given to graduate students. Selection is based upon a minimum 3.0 GPA, full-time student status, and financial need.

 

James A. Turner, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is at least 18 years old and attending an institution in the United States. Applicant must be planning a career in management of welding store operations or welding distributorship. Employment of at least 10 hours per week at a welding distributor is required.

 

Sumitomo Machinery Corporation of America

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15

Preference is given to applicant planning to major in engineering and international studies.

 

May M. Walker Business Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: December 17

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a full-time student. Selection is based upon academic ability, leadership, character, financial need, and potential for success in a business career.

 

Lehman M. Bauknight Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

 

Scott David Dean Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

 

Matt Locke Memorial Scholarship

Thomas B. Pearce Alumni Scholarship

Applicant must be a South Carolina resident and have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

 

Stanley Jackson Reeves Memorial Scholarship

Award: $550, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolled in the College of Business and Public Affairs, demonstrate financial need, have a minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA, and be a resident of Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina.

 

Alabama Power Scholarship

Applicant must be an Alabama resident. Selection is based upon academic record.

 

South Trust Bank Scholarship

Red River Business and Professional Women's Club Endowment Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a female student, age 25 or older, seeking to gain advancement or training or to re-enter the job market, enrolled in at least six semester hours, have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA (undergraduates) or 3.8 cumulative GPA (graduates), and must be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area. Tax forms required.

 

Rath Foundation Merit Scholarship

Award: $7,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.8 GPA and have tested in top 5% nationally with a minimum composite ACT score of 29.

 

Robert C. Thomas/Tenneco Gas Scholarship

Selection is based upon academic merit and the interests of the Sarkeys Energy Ctr and the U of Oklahoma.

 

Keith Alan Copeland Memorial Business Scholarship
