Reelgood College Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: June 1

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited four-year institution. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5. Applicants may be full or part-time students.

 

Drummond Law Firm

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 15

Applicants must be Nevada high school students currently in a JROTC or Boy Scout Explorer program, current Nevada ROTC college students or U.S. military veterans enrolled in a Nevada post-secondary institution.

 

Simplilearn Students Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited institution or a high school senior enrolling in a post-secondary institution.

 

PG&E Better Together STEM Scholarship Program

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicants must be PG&E customers who are either high school seniors, current college students, veterans or adults returning to school studying one of the following STEM related careers: Engineering (electrical, mechanical, computer, industrial or environmental), Computer Science/Information Systems, Cyber Security or Environmental Sciences. Students must intend to be full-time undergraduate students for the entire upcoming school year working toward their first degree at a PG&E Partner School in California.

 

1SEO Digital Agency Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 31

Applicants must be U.S. citizens residing in the Philadelphia area, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Students must be enrolled or plan to enroll full-time at an accredited institution with the intention of earning a bachelor's degree in marketing, communication or business. Applicants must create a video in addition to completing the application.

 

TransCanada Trades Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicants must live in a community within the U.S. or Canada where TransCanada conducts business. Communities are listed on the scholarship webpage. Student must be enrolled in a study related to the energy industry at any registered post-secondary institution in the U.S. or Canada.

 

TransCanada Indigenous Legacy Scholarship

Applicants must be either Native American, First Nation Metis or Inuit students who live in a community within the U.S. or Canada where TransCanada conducts business. Communities are listed on the scholarship webpage. Student must be enrolled in study at any registered post-secondary institution in the U.S. or Canada.

 

TransCanada Community Leaders Scholarship

Applicants must be have a history of strong community involvement through volunteerism, leadership and other activities. Students must live in a community within the U.S. or Canada where TransCanada conducts business. Communities are listed on the scholarship webpage. Student must be enrolled in study at any registered post-secondary institution in the U.S. or Canada.

 

Scott Alan Turner Personal Finance Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 1

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents of the United States graduating high school students or current undergraduate students in good standing at their college or university. Students must be between 16 and 21 years of age, have a 3.0 GPA and either plan to enroll or already be enrolled part- or full-time at a two or four year college or university.

Applicants must be incoming freshmen who are enrolled in the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering. Preference is given to female students.

Writer's Square Scholarship Program

Applicants must be enrolled students from first grade up to graduate school. Students must submit an essay pertaining to a given topic. Applicants may submit only one entry.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. Students must be enrolling as a college freshman or a current undergraduate of an accredited two or four year institution. Applicants must plan to enroll in a study abroad program in the coming year.

 

Unpakt College Scholarship

Applicants must be currently enrolled college students or a recent graduate. Students must submit application and an essay discussing where they plan to move after graduation to start their professional life and why.

 

Crescent Electric Supply Company

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 8

Applicants must be a graduating high school senior or a freshman, sophomore or junior in college. Students must be between the ages of 16 and 22. Applicants must post a photograph on social media that shows how they reduce their carbon footprint.

 

Boy Scout Eagle Award Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be enrolled at Birmingham-Southern College. Students must have earned the Eagle Scout rank through the Boy Scouts of America. Applicants must submit application along with a letter of recommendation, an essay about their project, copy of their award certificate and any documentation related to their project.

 

Girl Scouts Gold Award Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be enrolled at Birmingham-Southern College. Students must have earned the Girl Scouts of America Gold award. Applicants must submit application along with a letter of recommendation, an essay about their project, copy of their award certificate and any documentation related to their project.

 

BSC United Methodist Church Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled at Birmingham-Southern College. Students must be active in and nominated by their local United Methodist Church.

 

BSC United Methodist Church and College Partnership Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: January 31

Applicants must be nominated by their local United Methodist Church congregation, which will pledge a contribution per year for up to four years. If selected, BSC will match the church's contribution 2-1. Students must have served their church and community. Applicants must submit their activity resume, two letters of recommendation and an essay.

 

Concordia College Presidential Scholarship

Applicants must be graduating seniors enrolling at Concordia College. Students must have a GPA of 3.9 or be the valedictorian of their class. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents enrolled in at least twelve credit hours. Students must demonstrate community service and extra curricular participation.

BSC Theatre & Musical Theatre Scholarship
