Moody's Mega Math Challenge

Award: $20,000, Deadline: February 22

Applicant must be a high school junior or senior who is part of a team working to solve an open-ended, applied math-modeling problem focused on a real-word issue in 14 hours. Teams must be comprised of three to five students.

 

Out of State Fee Waiver

Applicant must have a minimum 3.2 GPA, minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200, and be an incoming freshman student or transfer student.

 

Byars Scholarship

Whitehead Scholarship

Applicant must be a female Christian, demonstrate financial need, and be a resident of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.

 

William B. Howell Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a full-time student who is majoring in welding. A minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need are required. Preference is given to applicants from Florida, Michigan, and Ohio.

 

J. Hugh and Earle W. Fellows Memorial Fund

Award: $120,000, Deadline: Rolling

Applicant must be a permanent resident of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, or Walton County, FL, be of good moral character, and qualified scholastically and intellectually. Ministry majors must be associated with the Episcopal church or a faith whose religious beliefs are not in substantial conflict with the Episcopal church. Recipient must have been accepted by or be successfully pursuing training at an accredited college or university in the appropriate field of study.

Deborah Snyder Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 25

Applicant must be a high school senior in Palm Beach County, FL who wishes to pursue a collegiate course of study in architectural design, interior design, or landscape design.

 

Jose Marti Scholarship Challenge Grant

Award: $2,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a Hispanic-American student who is enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours for undergraduate study or nine credit hours for graduate study. Application for undergraduate study must be submitted during the applicant's senior year of high school. Graduate students may apply; however priority for the scholarship is given to high school seniors. Applicant must not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made. FAFSA is required.

 

Joseph Collins Foundation Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must obtain application from the medical school authorities, complete it and return it to them for forwarding to the Foundation. Selection is based upon financial need, scholastic record and standing, demonstrated interest in arts and letters or other cultural pursuits outside the field of medicine, intention to specialize in neurology, psychiatry, or general practice, evidence of good moral character, and attendance at an accredited medical school located east of or contiguous to the Mississippi River.

 

American Legion Auxiliary Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: January 1

Applicant must be a member or the daughter or granddaughter of a member with continuous membership in a unit within the Department of Florida for at least three consecutive years prior to date of application. Applicant must be a Florida resident and must attend a Florida school. Application must be requested by January 1.

 

Beau Mitchell Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant should preferably be a non-resident student who is a former member of the Boy Scouts of America with strong moral character and an orientation toward the outdoors. Financial need required.

 

Nonresident Incentive Tuition Waiver

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 1 (priority)

Applicant must be a nonresident of Oklahoma, have high GPA and ACT scores, and be the child or grandchild of OSU alumni/ae.

 

Sun Devil Scholarship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a high school senior enrolling for the fall semester as a full-time student. Applicant will be automatically considered for the award once they have been admitted to the university.

 

Tuition Exemption Scholarship for Nonresidents

Award: $9,400, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a resident of a state other than Louisiana, have high standardized test scores, and an excellent academic record, especially in English and math.

Mary McLeod Bethune Scholarship

Applicant must be a United States citizen or eligible non-citizen who is a Florida resident and a full-time student. Applicant must not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made. Financial need is required.

 

Rosewood Family Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a direct descendant of Rosewood families affected by the incidents of January 1923. Initial Student Florida Financial Aid Application is required for verification. Applicant must not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship program unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made. FAFSA is required.

 

Amigo Scholarship

Award: $14,815, Deadline: February 1 (fall); October 1 (spring)

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 high school GPA with minimum composite ACT score of 23 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1070) or have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA with a minimum composite ACT score of 26 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 1170). Applicant must not be from New Mexico.

 

UA Scholar

Applicant must be an out-of=state first-time freshman student with a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA and minimum composite ACT score between 30 and 31 (combined SAT Reasoning score between 1330 and 1390).

 

University President's Club Non-Resident Scholarship
