Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need, be enrolled full-time, and submit two letters of recommendation.

 

Marjorie & Spencer Lauson Endowed Scholarship

Award: $550, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate financial need. Preference is given to applicant who plans to teach kidergarten through third grade in Montana or Wyoming or who plans to teach Early Childhood Education at the University level.

 

Gail L. Maryott Elementary Education Endowed Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate financial need.

 

Bryn Nelson Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be enrolled in at least 12 credits, be a graduate of a Montana high school, and demonstrate volunteerism.

 

Spildie/Warne Family Scholarship

Award: $750, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must be nominated by the Lock Endowment Committee and demonstrate excellence in the study of history/social studies, or elementary education at an East Texas college or university.

Applicant must be a sophomore, majoring in elementary education. Applicant must be a graduate of Wesson High School.

 

Lyle Bergstrom Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,400, Deadline: March 17

Applicant must be a full-time student entering their first year of an undergraduate English program in the Faculty of Education. Awarded in alternate years to a student entering the Elementary/Secondary Education program.

 

Harold and Florence Mosley Entrance Scholarship

Award: $4,100, Deadline: March 17

Applicant must be a top-rated full-time student entering their first year of an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Education. The award will alternate between the secondary and elementary programs.

 

Elda Washer Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Cleveland or Jefferson High School who will attend a public or nonprofit college university. FAFSA required.
