Out to Protect Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: November 22

Applicant must identify as gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, or transgender and be pursuing a career in law enforcement by attending a basic training program.

 

Elkus, Sisson & Rosenstein, P.C. Academic Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: October 1

Applicant must be a high school senior or undergraduate student with a parent who is a law enforcement official and/or going to school to become a law enforcement official. Essay required.

 

LivSecure Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 1

Applicants must be a high school senior or a freshman/sophomore in college. Students should be currently studying law enforcement, law, criminal justice, or a related field. Applicants will submit a 500-1000 word essay on why they chose a law enforcement related career and what they hope to achieve from their chosen career.

 

Johnston Martineau LLP

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be enrolled at or plan to enroll in an Iowa college or university. Students must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Applicants must intent to pursue a law oriented career including attorney, paralegal, legal assistant or investigator.
