Scholarships in Wildlife Conservation

Royden M. Bodley Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America Cascade Pacific Council and will major in environment, forestry, wildlife conservation or a related field at a public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon. FAFSA required.

 

Ryan & Collin Petitte Memorial Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 13

Applicant must be a Ukiah-area high school senior who is interested in attending a vocational school, community college, or four-year college/university. Selection is based upon their strong family bond and sense of humor; their interest in pursuing a career in wildlife conservation, environmental resource management or economics; their community or school activities (including hobbies, interests, and non-traditional activities); and financial need.

 

Thornapple Garden Club "Walk Gently on this Good Earth" Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a resident of Barry County who will pursue a two- or four-year degree in agricultural science, conservation, floriculture, horticulture, landscape design, or a related field. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

William C. Armstrong Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 3

Applicant must be a graduate from a public high school in Henderson County who will be attending a post-high school institution, pursuing a career in conservation and wildlife or related studies. Minimum 2.0 GPA and financial need required.
