Our scholarship sweepstakes are intended for only residents of the United States. Each offer is created within and measured by the laws governing the United States. To receive any of our provided scholarship awards requires completion of the contest offer terms specific to that offer or contest. Offer or contest terms may include (but are not limited to) age and residency information, name of institution you are or will be attending, a valid email and mailing address, and a phone number.

Our scholarship sweepstakes are each sole ventures. None of our scholarship sweepstakes are affiliated, sponsored by or directly endorsed by any school, college, institution of higher education, university or government entity.

SCHOLARSHIP SWEEPSTAKES ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Our scholarship sweepstakes are open to any individual, enrolled in an institute of higher education. Applicants must be permanent residents, refugees or qualified immigrants of the United States. Qualified immigrants are defined under federal law: the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-193, and the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-208.

All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in one of our offered scholarship sweepstakes, entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these official rules and the decisions of GoCollege.com (also referred to below as “the Sponsor,” “we” or “us”), which are final and binding.

Scholarship sweepstakes are void outside of the U.S. and where prohibited by law.

OFFERING A SUCCESSFUL ENTRY TO A SCHOLARSHIP SWEEPSTAKES.
To successfully apply for any one of our scholarship sweepstakes, an individual must complete the specific online application associated with the contest. There is never a purchase necessary for registration. Each unique applicant may enter each specific scholarship competition once during each posted registration time frame. Previous winners are ineligible.

TECHNICAL ISSUES
Neither we, nor any of the various interests that may help to sponsor our scholarship sweepstakes, are responsible for entries containing technical errors of any kind. This includes an entrant omitting or deleting any information, or data that is corrupted on submission. Similarly, each applicant is solely responsible to ensure their entry is complete and not invalid, compromised, corrupted or otherwise inadmissible.
Entries that are intentionally or otherwise falsified, incomplete, damaged or fail to meet basic requirements of a specified scholarship sweepstakes will be immediately disqualified.

All entries for any scholarship sweepstakes become the property of GoCollege.com and will not be returned. We are not responsible for any claims, liabilities or damages in conjunction with the prize of any specific scholarship contest mentioned or offered on this site. We are not responsible for any liabilities, damages or claims made in conjunction with the process of adhering to the scholarship contest rules.

We reserve the right to disqualify entrants for any reason, at any time. Scholarship sweepstakes rules, dates, and guidelines are subject to updates and/or modifications at any time and for any reason, without notification.

In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. The "authorized account holder" is further defined as the person granted use of an e-mail address assigned by an Internet access provider, business or other entity responsible for managing e-mail addresses on the associated domain.

WINNER SELECTION PROCESS
Unless otherwise noted in the terms of a specific contest or promotion, ONE winner will be selected at random for each specific scholarship sweepstakes. The winner's information and submission will be confirmed by a scholarship sweepstakes review panel. The decisions of a scholarship sweepstakes review panel are final.

Any use of personal information will be in accordance with our posted general Privacy Statement. The potential winner will be notified by e-mail, regular U.S. postal mail, telephone or by overnight carrier within days of the final selection.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted after reasonable effort expended over a 10 (ten) day period, the potential winner forfeits their claim and a secondary entrant may be selected in his/her place. Potential winners must comply with all terms and conditions of these official Rules and winning will be contingent upon fulfilling all requirements listed.

PAYMENT OF AWARD.
The scholarship sweepstakes monies will be paid via check directly to the sweepstakes winner upon verification that the winner is qualified and adhered to appropriate protocols with the application and submission process. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES, AND ANY OTHER COSTS AND EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF THE PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER. Each scholarship sweepstakes award may be tax free if the recipient meets all IRS requirements.

Prizes are awarded WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied, without limitation. If the winner chooses not to accept his/her prize, an alternate winner may be chosen. The award will be paid in one lump sum to the winner of each scholarship sweepstakes, unless otherwise noted in the terms of the contest.

SUBSTITUTION & ASSIGNMENT.
Each prize or award is non-transferable. GoCollege.com (the Sponsor) reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its own discretion.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY.
By participating, entrants (a): agree that GoCollege.com and their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers, and agencies, and their directors, officers, agents, employees, attorneys, and any other person or entity associated with such entities and/or scholarship sweepstakes shall not be liable for any and all claims, damages, losses or injuries, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, these scholarship sweepstakes, including entry and participation in these scholarship sweepstakes and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prizes; (b) agree that GoCollege.com and its employees and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose; (c) agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of GoCollege.com (including but not limited to eligibility determinations) which are final and binding in all respects; and (d) consent to use of his/her name, photograph and/or likeness and any statements made or attributed to the principals for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with our scholarship sweepstakes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

All entrants further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to a scholarship or scholarship contest offered on this site, they will indemnify GoCollege.com from any and all such claims, including the attorneys' fees related thereto. GoCollege.com shall not be liable for entries and winner notification responses that are technically damaged, incomplete, lost or otherwise unusable. GoCollege.com is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, inaccurate or misdirected contest entries, whether caused by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries for a scholarship sweepstakes; computer system, phone line, computer equipment or computer malfunctions, software, program malfunctions or other failures, or other errors or delays; or network connections that are human, mechanical or technical in nature. Entrant further agrees that in any cause of action, GoCollege.com and its employees' and agents' liability will be limited to the cost of entering and participating in the scholarship sweepstakes, and in no event shall the released parties be liable for attorney's fees. Entrant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct or indirect damages. ANY PERSON ATTEMPTING TO DEFRAUD OR IN ANY WAY TAMPER WITH A SCHOLARSHIP SWEEPSTAKES OFFERED ON THIS SITE WILL BE INELIGIBLE FOR PRIZES AND MAY BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. GoCollege.com reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel or suspend any scholarship sweepstakes should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond their control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the scholarship sweepstakes. GoCollege.com further reserves the right to modify the rules of each scholarship sweepstakes in any way or at any time. Notice of any such changes will be posted on our website.

DISPUTES.
Each scholarship sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States without respect to conflict of law doctrines. As a condition of participation, participants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with a scholarship sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the U.S. having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, including attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (e.g. costs associated with entering), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
