Applicants must be U.S. citizens, currently enrolled in a two- or four-year college or university and high school graduates. Students must write a haiku poem on provided topic. A minimum 2.0 GPA is required.

 

Girls Impact the World Film Festival

Applicants must be current high school or undergraduate college students 25 years of age or under and must not be a resident of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan or Syria. Applicants must create three- to five-minute short films that either raise awareness about current global issues affecting women or propose solutions to such challenges. Selection is based upon the overall strength of the film.

 

Alexia Foundation Student Grants

Applicants must be enrolled as full-time undergraduate or graduate students in an accredited college or university in the United States or abroad. Professional photographers are not eligible. Selection is based on photographic skill as well as the strength of the proposal.

 

Kerope Zildjian Concert Percussion Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: June 9

Applicants must be full-time undergraduate music students who are also outstanding percussionists. The CD submission of a percussion solo is required. Selection is based on the overall quality of the application and submission.

 

Lewis-Clark State College - GEAR UP Idaho Scholarship

Award: $5,775, Deadline: February 15

To qualify for the scholarship, an applicant must be less than 22 years old; be an Idaho resident; a graduating senior of an Idaho high school participating in GEAR UP; enroll as a full-time undergraduate student seeking their first undergraduate degree; and Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Award amount is $5,775.

 

JAM Paper Teacher Scholarship

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in education or a related field and be enrolled at an accredited U.S. college or university.

 

WBCA Coaches' All-America

Applicants at the collegiate level must be eligible college women's basketball players whose coaches are members of the WBCA. Applicants at the high school level must be seniors. Selection at all levels is based on current season statistics and achievements, impact on the team, team success, sportsmanship and academic eligibility.

 

Frances Lansbury Memorial Award/Adult Female Learner

Applicant must be 20 years old by March 1 and be continuing her education in a school of higher education. She must also be sponsored by a current New York State Women's 600 Bowling Club member.

 

Easton/NFAA Scholarship Program

Award: -, Deadline: December 31

Applicants must be high school students or a student enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university. High school students applying to be full time students at a technical training college are also eligible to apply. Applicants must also be current members of NFAA or the NAA/USA Archery. The student must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 in high school or 2.5 in college. Selection is based on academic achievements, level of participation in NFAA and USAT rankings.

 

ISAA Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 31

Applicants must be a high school senior, have obtained a GED or be a full-time college student. The student must have been an active member of ISAA for at least two years. Selection is based on participation in ISAA activities, academic achievement, financial need, community involvement and the reference letters.

 

MSAA Scholarship Program

Award: $500, Deadline: June 15

Students must apply as a senior in high school or within the first three years of college. The applicant must be a Minnesota State Archery Association member in good standing.

 

Ed Frickey Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: July 15

Students must be a college sophomore, junior or senior and have been involved with American Hackney Horses or Ponies. Selection is based on academic success, financial need, community service and extracurricular activities.

 

USHJA Making a Difference in Education Scholarship

Applicants must be a current member of the USHJA/USEF, must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident, must either be in the top 20 percent in class rank or have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Students must be entering a college or trade school in the fall as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior. Selection is made by the zone committee and is based on financial need, academic achievement, community service, leadership and the personal essay.

 

National Gymnastics Foundation Men's Scholarship

Applicants must be USA Gymnastics members and pursuing college or post-secondary education.

 

Texas International Fishing Tournament Inc. Scholarship

Applicants must be a college undergraduate (freshman through senior), have at least a 2.25 GPA and have been involved with the Texas International Fishing Tournament. Selection is based on past involvement with T.I.F.T., academic achievement and an essay.

 

Memorial Fund Scholarships

Applicants must be pursuing a college degree, be a current member of U.S. Figure Skating, have competed at the sectional level, be participating in volunteer work in skating if no longer skating and have a 3.0 or higher GPA. Selection is based on financial need, academic success and continuing participation in competitive figure skating or U.S. Figure Skating.

 

Helen McLoraine Figure Skating Scholarship

Applicants must be a high school senior or college undergraduate and have competed in a U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competition. Synchronized skating is not eligible. Selection is based on academic success, honors, demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities, work experience, goals and the essay.

 

Cecilia Colledge Memorial Fund Award

Award is given to the skater with the highest program components score at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in the novice ladies and novice men's event.

 

Collegiate Championship Award Program

The award is presented to the senior ladies champion and senior men's champion at the U.S. Collegiate Figure Skating Championships.

 

Grace Moore Scholarship

Applicants must maintain a New Jersey U.S. Figure Skating club as their home club and have competed in U.S. Figure Skating qualifying competitions for two years for a senior scholarship and one year for a junior scholarship. Selection is based on skating achievement in the disciplines of freestyle, pairs and dance in relation to the skater's age, progress and attitude.

 

Helen Gee Chin Scholarship Foundation Scholarship

Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, plan to attend an accredited U.S. four year college or university as a full-time student for the entire academic year and have a B GPA. Applicants must have studied for at least five years one or more of the Chinese martial arts including Kung Fu, Wu Shu or Tai Chi. Selection is based on achievement in academics and martial arts, recommendations, work experience, educational and career goals and leadership in school and community activities.

 

AAU Karate Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the fall.

 

Zen Bei Butoku Kai Scholarship

Applicants must have studied a martial art for more than two years and currently be practicing. Selection is based on the merit of a required paper between 3,000 and 10,000 words describing how martial arts training has affected the applicant's personal growth.

Jack Hughes Education Scholarship

NCRA Scholarship

Applicants must be NCRA members in good standing, be a senior in high school or a college undergraduate and have a "B" overall grade point average.

 

Everest University -- Jacksonville Bright Futures Scholarships

Award: $12,000, Deadline: August 31

The Bright Futures program consists of three different awards: Florida Academic Scholars (FAS), Florida Medallion Scholars (FMS) and Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars (GSV). To qualify an applicant must be a Florida state resident and U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen; complete the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA); receive a standard Florida high school diploma or its equivalent; not have been convicted of a felony; be accepted by and enroll in a degree or certificate program; and be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours per term. In addition, each of the above awards has specific minimum requirements for high school coursework, GPA, ACT/SAT scores, and service hours.

 

CollegeSTEPS Sweepstakes

Students must be attending a high school, college or university or be home schooled and be at least 14 years old. Winners are selected from those who enroll in the CollegeSTEPS program.

 

National Propane Gas Foundation

Applicants must be high school seniors or undergraduate students and have a 2.6 or higher GPA. Selection is based on academic achievement, letters of recommendation, extra curricular activity involvement, employment experience and financial need.

 

Giva Corporate Student Scholarship and Worldwide Community Ambassador Award

Applicants must be attending any college or university worldwide as undergraduate or graduate students. Selection is based on the 600- to 1,000-word essay. The student's school must post information about the scholarship on the public website in order for the student to be eligible to apply.
