Mometrix College Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 22

Applicant must be a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior. Short, 400-word essay on the following question is required: What test preparation practices work best for you and why? Essays that receive the most votes will win one of the scholarship prizes.

 

Lemberg Law Do-Not-Call-Complaints Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 31

Applicant must be a high school senior or current college student in the United States. Applicant must creatively express their viewpoint, in video format, on do-not-call complaints.

 

The Plastic Place Green Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen who is an undergraduate college student this fall. Selection is based on an essay about a topic relating to environmentalism.

 

Platinum Educational Group EMS, Nursing, and Allied Health Scholarship Program

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 15

Applicant must be attending a State approved or accredited EMS, Nursing, or Allied Health program. Student will need to provide a copy of student ID (if your program issues one), a copy of a State Identification Card (Ex. State ID or Driver's License), a Letter of Recommendation Form (form provided) and a brief essay (500 words maximum) on what interested you in your field and what your plans are after graduation. Recipients must provide a follow-up photo to Platinum Educational Group if chosen as scholarship awardee.

 

Atlanta Dental Spa Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 31

Applicant must be a high school senior or currently registered college student. Students will need to submit a creative video on: What will you do in life to make people smile? More detailed specifics on the video can be found on their website.

Award: $500, Deadline: September 15

Applicant must be a current United States citizen who is enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college or university this fall with a minimum 2.0 GPA. An original haiku poem that captures the essence of what the word "emerge" means to you is required to be submitted.

 

AfterCollege Engineering Student Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 31; June 30; September 30; December 31

Applicant must be a currently enrolled student working towards a degree in a field of engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must click the blue "Apply" button on the sponsor's application page and complete their profile which will be the criteria (with specific emphasis on the personal statement).

Applicant must be a United States citizen who is a full-time student attending an accredited institution of higher education. Essay between 500 and 1,000 words based on question found on sponsor's website is required.

Applicant must be an incoming college freshman or a current undergraduate/graduate student. A 500-words or less essay on what makes a great backpack is required.
