Copyright Awareness Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: June 1

Applicant must be between the ages of 13 and 25 and be currently enrolled at an accredited secondary school or post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university, or trade school). Applicant must creatively present their viewpoint in video format on The Importance of Intellectual Property and Copyright Law.

 

Laser Tattoo Removal Semiannual Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 30 and November 30

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident who plans to enroll or is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university this fall with a minimum 3.0 GPA. A 200 to 400 word post on a website, blog, or online forum that expresses the applicant's opinion on the societal impact of laser tattoo removal is required to be submitted.

 

Delete Cyberbullying Scholarship Award

Award: $1,250, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a high school or current undergraduate or graduate student. Short essay addressing one of the following questions required: 1.) Why is it important to work to delete cyberbullying? or 2.) How has cyberbullying personally affected you?

 

Shine Bright Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be a high school senior or an undergraduate or graduate student this fall at an accredited U.S. college or university. A 500-word essay on one of the following questions is required: 1.) How can the Web give a company a competitive advantage? or 2.) How will you use your 'personal shine' to make a difference?

 

Connections Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: July 1

Applicant must be a recently graduated high school senior who is enrolled as a freshman at a two- or four-year college/university or a current full-time undergraduate student. Minimum 3.0 GPA and essay required.

 

Quickship Essay Contest

Award: $1,500, Deadline: December 15; June 15

Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at any accredited American college, university, or trade school. Essay on one of the following topics required: 1.) How will technology affect (change) the printing industry? or 2.) How has printing helped/contributed to your education?

 

BigSun Athletic Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: June 20

Applicant must be a high school senior or undergraduate student who is an athlete. Essay on the following question required: How has your participation in sports affected who you are and how you relate to others? Include the affects on personal relations with peers and others.

 

Wholesale Halloween Costumes Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: November 5

Applicant must be enrolled at an accredited two- or four-year college in the United States. Applicant must submit a picture of their own carved pumpkin.

 

Technology for Tuition Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: December 18

Applicant must be an incoming freshman or currently enrolled college student who has successfully completed the SAT Reasoning or ACT and has a minimum 2.5 GPA. Essay question on the following topic in 500 words or less required: Has the On Demand revolution and shift to consuming media online affected you positively or negatively as a student? How?

 

The Bodie Law Firm Scholarship Contest

Award: $500, Deadline: December 20

Applicant must be a current two- or four-year college or law student. Essay on the following prompt is required: Discuss solutions to the student loan crisis. Specifically, do you believe amending the bankruptcy code to allow for discharge of student loans would alleviate the problem? If not, what alternative solutions do you recommend?

 

MyProjectorLamps Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: September 30; February 28

Applicant must be a high school senior or undergraduate student in the United States who is considered to be in 'good standing' at their current institution. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. One page essay detailing ideas about the use of multimedia and data visualization in K-12 classrooms is required.

 

General Scholarship Program

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 2

Applicant must have gone to a high school in Cochise, Pima, or Santa Cruz Counties, or a high school in Yuma, Pinal, Graham, and Greenlee Counties that are south of the Gila River. Full-time status and minimum 2.5 GPA required. Minimum amount awarded to recipients attending two-year institutions; maximum award amount to recipients attending four-year institutions.

 

Ryan Wanta Memorial Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Portage County who is enrolled in a child care or early childhood education program.

 

Judy Bender Scholarship for Nursing

Award: $500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a non-traditional student enrolled in a nursing program at Fox Valley Technical College who is currently taking core nursing classes.

 

Ione & Vincent Berg Family Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Fox Valley Technical College student enrolled in the culinary arts program or hotel restaurant management program who has maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA and has financial need.

 

Abbot and Fenner Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 14

Applicant must be a high school junior or senior or student currently enrolled in any accredited post-secondary institution. Essay on the following topic required: Every generation faces new challenges and new problems. What do you think is the biggest difference between your generation and older generations? How do you think these differences will affect the future of our country and/or your career choice?

 

Travel Video Contest

Award: $4,000, Deadline: October 23

Applicant must be 18 years of age or older who is already enrolled or planning to enroll in a college or university outside of their home country. If applicant is currently studying outside of their home country, their video can describe any trip they would like to take. If applicant is not currently studying outside of their home country, their entry must describe theirproposed study abroad.

 

Build U. Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: October 1; April 1

Applicant must be a product design, interaction design, engineering, or computer science student who best explains how having a shared set of beliefs is important for building a great company.

 

Students with Heart Foundation Scholarship

Award: $6,000, Deadline: October 1

Applicant must be in the process of entering or currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program who has a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must have a cardiac disease or deformity that is accompanied by a letter from a licensed physician. Transcript, letter of recommendation, personal interview, and personal essay also required.

 

$1,000 SuperCollege Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: Monthly

Applicants must be high school students, college undergraduates, graduate students or adult students residing in the U.S. and attending or planning to attend any accredited college or university within the next 12 months. The scholarship may be used to pay for tuition, books, room and board, computers or any education-related expenses.

 

Undergraduate Student Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a student entering college or a current undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college or university in the United States with cystic fibrosis. Selection based upon applicant's scholastic record, character, demonstrated leadership, service to CF-related causes and the broader community, and need for financial assistance.

 

Dream Award

Award: $15,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents or deferred action (DACA) students. Applicant must be enrolled in their second year of education beyond high school with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarships for this cycle include general scholarships; STEM scholarships (for study in science, technology, engineering and math-related majors); and scholarships for Chinese-American students.
