Regents Professional Opportunity Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 31

Applicant must be beginning or already enrolled in an approved degree-bearing program of study in New York State that leads to licensure in a particular profession. Purpose of award is to increase representation of minority and disadvantaged individuals in New York State licensed professions.

 

Roger and Susie Friou Accountancy Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

Applicant should have strong academic and leadership records and must either be an entering freshman or a transfer student.

 

Deloach and Ray Scholarship in Accountancy

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

 

McCarty Accountancy Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 1 (Priority)

Applicant should have strong leadership and academic records. Applicant must be an entering freshman or transfer student.

 

AICPA Scholarship for Minority Accounting Students

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a legal minority U.S. citizen who is a full-time student interested in becoming a CPA. Completing at least 30 semester hours, minimum 3.0 GPA, financial need, and AICPA student affiliate membership required.

 

AICPA Accountemps Student Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate-level accounting student who has completed at least 30 semester hours. Minimum 3.0 GPA and two essays required.

 

John L. Carey Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a full-time student who has obtained a liberal arts or other non-business undergraduate degree and has earned 12 credits or less in accounting or business. Applicant must be pursuing their CPA. Two essays are required.

 

AICPA Fellowship for Minority Doctoral Students

Award: $12,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a minority full-time student who has applied to a doctoral program or has been accepted to a doctoral program and plans to pursue the CPA exam.

 

Graduate Scholarship

Applicant must be a new graduate student who has been accepted into one of the eligible academic programs and will enroll in at least six credits.
