Ritchie-Sennings Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student (enrolled in at least 12 semester hours, or equivalent per term) at an accredited four-year college or university pursing a declared major in either accounting, business and finance, or criminal science. Junior college, community college, and high school students including graduating seniors are not eligible to apply. Application, official transcript, three letters of recommendation (including one from a Certified Fraud Examiner or local Association chapter), original essay explaining why applicant deserves the scholarship, and how fraud awareness will affect his or her professional career development, are required to be submitted.

 

College Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be attending an institution in New Jersey. Application, resume, transcript and accounting teacher recommendation are required to be submitted.

 

High School Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: December 16

Applicant must be a New Jersey resident attending a New Jersey High School and intending to major in accounting in College. Application, transcript, SAT scores and essay are required to be submitted.

 

Fifth-Year Accounting Student Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 15

Applicant must have completed at least 120 hours of college work and intend on taking the written exam conducted by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy to receive a certificate of "certified public accountant." Selection based upon financial need and scholastic ability and performance. Applicant must be a resident of Texas attending a participating Texas college or university.

Walter E. Dalby Accounting Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Western Colorado with financial need who is a full-time student and has a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 12 semester hours as a junior or nine semester hours as a senior, have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA as a junior or a 3.25 cumulative GPA as a senior, have a minimum 3.5 GPA in accounting courses at Texas A&M U - Texarkana, must be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area, and must not be the current recipient of another privately-funded accounting scholarship. Interview with donor required.

Tau Alpha Lambda Business Scholarship

Applicant must be an active Tau Alpha Lambda member and a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least nine semester hours (undergraduate) or six semester hours (graduate), have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (undergraduate) or 3.8 cumulative GPA (graduate), have completed at least six semester hours of business at Texas A&M U - Texarkana and have a minimum 3.0 GPA (undergraduate) or 3.5 GPA (graduate) in accounting, economics, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing courses at Texas A&M U - Texarkana, and be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area.

 

Larry Ozzello Scholarship

Applicant must be a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon who is enrolled full time and has a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA. Applicant should have a record of leadership within his chapter and campus organizations. Preference is given to members of Nu chapter.
