HSF/HSBC-North America Scholarship Program

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic heritage and enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university in the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam with a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Applicant must be a current undergraduate sophomore or a current community college student who is planning on transferring to a four-year college or university; thus having junior status in the upcoming academic school year. Resume and FAFSA are required. Program will begin as of fall 2009.

 

HSF/Wal-Mart Stores College Scholarship Program

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic heritage and is a sophomore, junior, senior, or first, or second year Master's student enrolled full-time with a minimum 3.0 GPA in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university in the United States, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam. FAFSA is required. Program will begin as of fall 2009.

 

HSF/Wells Fargo Scholarship Program

Award: $2,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic heritage and is a current sophomore enrolled full-time with a minimum 3.0 GPA at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States; selected recipient must be enrolled as a junior during the award year. FAFSA is required. Program will be open as of fall 2009.

 

HSF/MassMutual Multicultural College Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: May 9

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic heritage. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and plan to enroll as a full-time student pursuing a degree in accounting, business, economics, finance, marketing, mathematics, or statistics at a four-year accredited institution in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam during the upcoming academic year. FAFSA is required. Program will begin as of fall 2009.

 

HSF/GMAC SmartEdge Book Scholarship Program

Applicant must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551 who is of Hispanic heritage. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and have plans to enroll as a full-time student in a degree-seeking program at a four-year accredited institution in the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Guam during the upcoming academic year. Payne, Nickles & Company Accounting Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a fourth or fifth year student who is majoring in accounting. Award looks to assist recipient in meeting the 150-hour requirement to take the CPA exam. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required.

 

Hawaii Society of Certified Public Accountants Scholarship Fund

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must be a college junior, senior or graduate student with a major or concentration in accounting at an accredited four-year college or university in Hawaii. Applicant must have completed two or more 300-level accounting courses. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

The A.A. and Hattie Mae Bush Accounting Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior or currently enrolled college student from the 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle, or currently attending Amarillo College, Texas Tech University or West Texas A&M University and majoring in accounting. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

 

The John W. Puckett Memorial Accounting Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a junior or senior accounting major at West Texas A&M University who demonstrates financial need and academic excellence. Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA required.

 

Scotiabank Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must have completed their second year of study in entrepreneurship and/or accounting, demonstrate financial need, be in good academic standing and meet Ontario residency requirements.

 

Ronald and Karel Bennett Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Jackson County high school who will be enrolling at a public or nonprofit college or university as a sophomore or above with a major in accounting, architecture, business or engineering. FAFSA and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Nicholas Diermann Memorial Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be pursuing a degree in accounting, music, performing arts, or sales (computer, software) operations at a four-year public college or university. FAFSA and essay required.

 

Oregon Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be enrolling as a college senior or above at a four-year public or nonprofit college or university in Oregon pursuing a degree in accounting, business, criminal justice, finance, law, law enforcement, or risk management. Minimum 3.25 GPA required.

 

Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship

Award: $313, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Mt. Vernon High School who will attend a college or university in Indiana in pursuit of a two- or four-year degree in accounting, architecture, building trades, business, drafting, finance, real estate or structural engineering. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Margaret Johnson Honorary Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior female from Mt. Vernon High School who will pursue a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or education at a four-year college or university.

 

Helen Ellis Brown Scholarship for Academic Excellence

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 16

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Tri Jr-Sr High School who will major in accounting, business or management. Minimum 3.5 GPA required.

 

Marian Klausmeier Roettger Scholarship Endowment

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of Southridge High School pursuing a bachelor's degree or post-graduate degree in accounting or business.

 

Church, Church, Hittle and Antrim Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Noblesville or Westfield High School who intend to pursue a career in accounting, law, medicine or ministry. Financial aid must be demonstrated.

 

Marlene & Henry Bauer Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan county high school who will be attending a community college as a full-time student. Applicant must be planning to pursue a career in business, marketing, management, accounting, or other business-related field. Financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship Fund

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Whiteland or Franklin High School who will attend a two- or four-year college or university in Indiana in pursuit of a degree in accounting, architectural engineering, architecture, business, drafting, finance, Industrial arts education, management, mechanical engineering, real estate sales or another field related to the building trades industry. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Hubert A. Nelson Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: January 15 (application deadline); March 1 (FAFSA deadline)

Applicant must be a high school senior in a Duluth/Superior public/private high school who ranks in the top quarter of their graduating class. Applicant must be planning to attend the University of Minnesota - Duluth or the University of Wisconsin - Superior and major in business or accounting.

 

Richard L. Strawn Scholarship

Applicant must be at least a sophomore at Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi who is majoring in accounting.

 

Talbert Family Memorial Accounting & Financial Management Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduate from a Coastal Bend high school who is majoring in accounting or financial management at an accredited Texas college or university. Financial need and essay are required.

 

Jean Hunse Scholarship

Applicant must be a Kalamazoo County high school senior or current undergraduate or graduating high school senior or graduate of a Kalamazoo County high school planning to enroll or currently enrolled in business at Western Michigan University. Minimum 3.5 GPA and financial need are required.

 

Charleston Chapter of West Virginia Society of CPAs

Applicant must be a graduating senior who is a resident of Kanawha or Putnam County who plans to enroll in the field of accounting. Minimum 2.5 GPA and composite ACT score of 20 required.

 

Redwood Empire Estate Planning Council Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a resident of Sonoma County who plans to or is currently majoring in accounting, business, or law.
