Applicant must be an Oklahoma resident who plans to teach in a critical subject shortage area in Oklahoma. Essay required. Award may be used at Oklahoma public and private colleges only.

 

Burlington Northern Santa Fe Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a Native American with proof of tribal enrollment or a certificate of Indian blood, plan to attend a four-year, accredited educational institution full time, and live in one of the states served by the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Pacific Corp. and its affiliated companies.

 

Back to School Nursing Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 31; April 30; July 31; October 31

Applicant must be a legal resident of the United States who is at least 18 years of age or older at the time of registration and who plans to enroll in a previously unattended institution in the United States (award not open to residents in Florida, New York, Rhode Island or other states/territories). Applicant must be a nursing student. Response to why the applicant decided to pursue a nursing career is required.

 

Beau Mitchell Memorial Scholarship

Applicant should preferably be a non-resident student who is a former member of the Boy Scouts of America with strong moral character and an orientation toward the outdoors. Financial need required.

Albert Loftin Endowed Scholarship

Applicant must be a degree-seeking student who has a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA (at least a 3.0 GPA each semester), and must be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area. Official Texarkana Coll transcripts required. First preference is for an applicant who attended Texarkana Coll on an Albert Loftin scholarship; second preference is for an applicant who attended Texarkana Coll full time who plans on completing an undergraduate degree at Texas A&M U - Texarkana.
