Academic Council Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Daniels Scholarship Program

Award: -, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be a high school senior graduating from any high school in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming with financial need. Minimum composite ACT score of 17 (combined SAT Reasoning score of 830 with math score no lower than 400 in critical reading and 440 in math).

 

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Essay & Video Contest

Award: $150, Deadline: November 20

Applicant must be a high school student at a Utah public, private, or charter school. Essay or video required.

 

7th GotScholarship $20K Give Away

Award: $20,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a current or future college student/graduate with outstanding loans in any area of study. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older and register with GotChosen.com in ordered to be entered into the random drawing. Selection not based upon GPA, essay, or financial need. Award required to be used for educational expenses.

 

Brad's Deals Scholarship Competition

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and high school senior or undergraduate student who is 18 years of age or older. Minimum 3.0 GPA and essay required. Not open to residents of Rhode Island or Tennessee.

 

BLET Auxiliary Scholarships

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicants must be the children of both a BLET Auxiliary and BLET member (living or deceased) and enrolled or accepted by an accredited university, college or institute of higher learning. If the applicant is a graduate student or returning to school as a sophomore, junior or senior, he or she must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on academic record, leadership, character and personal achievement.

 

New Century Scholarship

Award: $1,250, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be high school students who have completed the equivalent of an associate's degree at a Utah state institution of higher education or completed a specific math and science curriculum by September 1 of their high school graduation year. The award provides assistance for the bachelor's degree at a state college.

 

Sterling Scholar Awards of Utah

Award: $1,500, Deadline: January 23

Applicants must be Utah public high school seniors. They must be nominated by their schools in one of 14 categories. Selection is based on scholarship (50 percent), leadership (25 percent) and community service/citizenship (25 percent).

 

Utah Association of Independent Insurance Agents Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: April 1

Applicants must be Utah high school seniors. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be active in extracurricular activities. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Mahindra USA Women in Ag Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in the field of agriculture and reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required as well as participation in community service, financial need and leadership ability. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Animal Health International FFA Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 8

Applicants must be under 23 years of age and current members of FFA. Applicants must be residents of one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington or Wyoming. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

PPN Scholarship for Book and Cover Design

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 24

Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university or technical school in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington or Wyoming and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Selection is based on book and cover design projects.

 

Theodore D. Harrington Scholarship

Award: $1,200, Deadline: January 5

Applicants must have a permanent residence in the NACE Western Area which includes the following states: Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Applicants must take courses offered by an accredited college or university or programs approved by the area upon application. Selection is based on the overall strength of information provided by the applicant.

 

Legacy of Learning Scholarships

Award: -, Deadline: Varies

Applicants must be the spouse or child of a worker who died in an industrial accident that is compensable through the Workers Compensation Fund. Transcript with SAT or ACT scores and two letters of recommendation are required.

 

DL English Design PAVE Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicants must be enrolled in a program working towards a degree in the retail design industry. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. Students must be studying within the following states: Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah or Washington.
