Melonye Shurtz Memorial Scholarship

Award: $300, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Eastmont High School who is pursuing further education in a service related field such as teaching, medical, social work, etc. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Silver Star Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a resident of Washington State for at least one year prior to graduation from Chelan or Manson High School. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Bob and Valerie Valaas Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee or Westside High School who plans to enter the health science program at Wenatchee Valley College. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need required.

 

Alumni Foundation Scholarship

Award: $5,625, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School. Selection based upon financial need.

 

Jane Lovejoy Memorial Leadership Scholarship

Award: $2,775, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School. Minimum 3.0 GPA, leadership qualities, and financial need are required.

 

Wenatchee Valley Street Rods Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from any high school in Washington State who has been accepted into an accredited college, university, or trade school. Applicant must have been active in their community, specifically in drug and alcohol prevention or awareness. Financial need and involvement in community, school and/or church are required.

 

Dr. Steven G. Kerr Memorial Medical Scholarship

Award: $400, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a non-traditional student at Wenatchee Valley College who is enrolled in allied health sciences.

 

E.K. & Lillian F. Bishop Foundation Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must have a permanent home address in Grays Harbor County, WA. Essay on the impact Grays Harbor County has had on applicant is required. Demonstrated financial need also required.

Larry Jay Brittain Memorial Fund

Applicant must be a graduate of a Walla Walla County high school who was active in youth baseball and demonstrates a desire to pursue higher education. Financial need will be considered.

 

Terry Copple Fund

Applicant must be a graduate of Walla Walla High School who will major in visual arts at the college level or at a special art school. Financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Bobby Cox Memorial Fund

Award: $300, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Walla Walla County or Milton-Freewater, OR who is of latino descent. Leadership skills and financial need must be demonstrated.

 

Ralph and Elsa Emigh Fund

Applicant must be a high school graduate from Columbia, Garfield or Walla Walla County or Milton-Freewater, Weston or Athena, OR. Financial need or merit must be demonstrated.

 

Keith P. and Helen C. Fenner Fund

Applicant must be a high school graduate from Columbia, Umatilla or Walla Walla County who demonstrates extraordinary leadership and good citizenship.

 

Edward F. Fields Memorial Fund

Applicant must be a high school graduate from Walla Walla County who participated in 4-H or FFA and will attend Washington State University with interest in livestock, veterinary medicine or extension services.

 

Tichi-Groom Fund

Applicant must be a graduate from a Walla Walla or Umatilla County high school whose parents are in fire-fighting service, paid or volunteer, or city/county law enforcement.

 

Ann Weatherill Memorial Scholarship Fund

Applicant must be a graduate of Garrison Middle School in Walla Walla, WA who has demonstrated academic excellence and financial need.

Applicant must be a graduating senior or high school graduate from Ritzville, Washtucna, Lind, LaCrosse, Kahlotus, Connell, Odessa or Christian Heritage high school districts.

 

Bess Mikalson

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school senior or graduate of a high school in Ferry or Stevens County, or of Selkirk High School, and plan to attend a state supported college or university in Washington.

 

Lucille I. Hudon Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Spokane, Lincoln, Pend Oreille, Stevens or Whitman County who is entering their first year of post-secondary education. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
