Cancer Care/Betsy Tontini Nursing Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan or Douglas County High School or current Wenatchee Valley College student who plans to enroll or is currently enrolled in the nursing program at Wenatchee Valley College. Applicant must demonstrate leadership ability by participating in community service and extracurricular activities, demonstrate significant change of success, and financial need.

 

Rudolph and Carolyn Christianson Scholarship

Award: $12,900, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan county high school. Personal interview required.

 

Cone Family Scholarship

Award: $1,650, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Chelan High School who will be attending an accredited four-year college. Financial need is required.

 

Eric DePersio Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee or Westside High School. Financial need, potential/scholastic ability, and significant improvement academically and/or overcome obstacles during high school must be demonstrated.

 

Doell Family Scholarship

Award: $2,165, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County high school who plans to major in journalism or music. Financial need and potential/scholastic ability required to be demonstrated.

 

Douglas County Waste Management Environmental Studies College Scholarship

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Douglas County high school who plans to major in environmental sciences or environmental engineering.

 

Fern Cousineau Duncan Art Scholarship

Award: $3,100, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County high school who is pursuing art as a career. Financial need must be demonstrated. Portfolio of minimum 10 pieces required.

 

Ronald Dean Estes Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan or Douglas County high school who plans to further their education in biology, natural resources, or pre-law. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Henry Max Galbraith/East Wenatchee Grange No. 1012 Scholarship

Award: $665, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a Douglas County resident who is a graduating senior planning to attend Wenatchee Valley College. Applicant must plan to enroll in a an agriculture, agriculture-related, or allied health sciences field of study.

 

Fisk and Lila Gerheardt Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School who plans to attend a four-year college or university. Minimum 3.8 GPA required.

 

Jack & Dede Hill WSU Exchange Club Scholarship

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School who has been accepted at Washington State University. Selection based upon leadership, community service, and scholarship.

 

Roy W. Hill Music Scholarship

Award: $16,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Chelan or Douglas County high school who plans to major in music as a full-time student. Personal interviews required. Award is payed over four years.

 

Gene 'Sarge' Huber Band Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Wenatchee High School who has participated in one or more of the following during each and all years at Wenatchee: band, jazz band, or wind ensemble. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Stella Knobel & Mary Jean Carter Scholarship

Award: $1,950, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior or nontraditional student from Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County who will be attending an accredited educational program in the United States as a full-time student. Applicant must be planning to major or minor in music who is a passionate and experienced organist or pianist.

 

LeMaster/Auvil Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Chelan, Eastmont, or Waterville High School who plans to attend a post-secondary school in Washington state. Selection based upon financial need, leadership qualities, academic potential, and participation in extracurricular activities. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Lauren Ludeman Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Waterville High School who is seeking to further their education at an accredited educational program in the United States. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need are required.

 

Clarence and Della Murray Scholarship

Award: $4,325, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County high school. Selection based upon unmet need and potential scholastic ability.

 

Hal Newman Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,250, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Wenatchee High School who is seeking further education in instrumental or vocal music.

 

NCW Italian Heritage (Sons of Italy) Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County who has been accepted as a full-time student at an accredited higher education program. Applicant or a legal family member must be of Italian heritage/descent. Selection based on financial need.

 

Okanogan Masonic Lodge/#169 - Herbert and Elizabeth Davis Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of any high school in Okanogan County.

 

Tanner J. Perry Memorial Scholarship

Award: $625, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Cashmere High School who is enrolled in an accredited educational program. Applicant must demonstrate a commitment to extracurricular activities such as cross-country, leadership, and/or knowledge bowl. Preference will be given to students pursuing a field related to science and/or math.

 

Paine Electronics Engineering Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan or Douglas County high school who plans to major in mechanical or electrical engineering. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need are required. Award amount is paid over four years.

 

Paine Electronics Family Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior of any high school whose parents are employed by Paine Electronics. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Dorothy Prewitt Pohlman/AAUW Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a current or former female student at Wenatchee Valley College who has completed a minimum of 60 credits and is pursuing a bachelor's degree at a four-year college in Washington state.

 

Josh Putman Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Eastmont High School who has been accepted at an accredited educational program in the United States. Minimum 2.5 GPA and financial need required.

 

Paul Reasor Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Eastmont High School who has been accepted at an accredited educational program in the United States. Applicant must have participated in a varsity sport for a minimum of two years. Minimum GPA between 2.8 and 3.5, personal statement, and letters of recommendation required.
