Students must be at least in their senior year of high school. Applicants must submit three letters of recommendation and an essay.

 

P.A. Margaronis Scholarships

Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and submit an essay and two letters of recommendation.

 

Montgomery GI Bill - Selected Reserve

Applicants must have a six-year commitment to the Selected Reserve signed after June 30, 1985. The Selected Reserve includes the Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, Air Force Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve and Coast Guard Reserve and the Army National Guard and the Air National Guard. Applicants must have completed basic military training, meet the requirements to receive a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and may use the funds for degree programs, certificate or correspondence courses, cooperative training, independent study programs, apprenticeship/on-the-job training and vocational flight training programs.

 

State Employees Association of North Carolina (SEANC) Scholarships

Applicants must be the spouses or children of members and demonstrate either financial need or merit, or applicants must be members working full-time and enrolled in six or more semester hours of undergraduate work or three or more hours of graduate work. Students who are spouses or children must be enrolled full-time.

 

Oklahoma Tuition Equalization Grant Program (OTEG)

Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at a private institution of higher learning full-time. They must have a family income of no more than $50,000, make satisfactory academic progress and not have already earned a bachelor's degree.

Applicants must be members of ITEEA, be full-time undergraduate students and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

 

Math and Science Teaching Incentive Scholarships

Applicants must have at least a 2.5 GPA. Recipients must agree to work for at least five years after graduation as a secondary school science or math teacher in the state of New York.

 

Scholarships for Academic Excellence

Applicants must be New York residents who are high school graduates, enrolled full-time in an eligible undergraduate program in New York State and are U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens. Selection is based on grades in Regents exams.

 

ASME Foundation Scholarships

Award: $11,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicants must be current ASME student members who are currently enrolled in (or have been accepted into) an ABET-accredited (or similarly accredited) undergraduate degree program in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology or a subject related to one of these. They must be rising or current sophomores, juniors or seniors with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Selection is based on academic achievement and professional potential in engineering.

 

Ada I. Pressman Memorial Scholarship

Applicants may major in any type of engineering. They must be U.S. citizens and must be college sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate students. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.

 

Markley Scholarship

Applicants must attend a college/university in the former NACA South Central Region (AR, LA, NM, OK, TX); must be enrolled as juniors, seniors or graduate students at a four-year institution or as sophomores at a two-year institution and must have a minimum 2.5 GPA. Only ELECTRONIC applications and supporting documents submitted through the online scholarship application will be accepted.

 

American Express Scholarship Competition

Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program resulting in a degree in hospitality management. Students or their parents must be employed in the lodging industry by an American Hotel and Lodging Association member facility.

 

ASEV Scholarships

Applicants must be undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in or accepted into a full-time accredited four-year university program and must reside in North America (Canada, Mexico or the U.S.). Undergraduate students must be at least juniors for the upcoming academic year and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Graduate students must have a minimum 3.2 GPA. Applicants must be enrolled in a major or in a graduate group concentrating on enology or viticulture or in a curriculum with a focus on a science basic to the wine and grape industry. The application, transcripts and two letters of recommendation are required.

 

Advanced Practice Healthcare Scholarship Program

Award: $50,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicants must be California residents who have been accepted by or are enrolled in an accredited California program. Financial need, work experience and career goals are considered, and preference is given to applicants who plan to remain in a medically underserved area past the service time. Those selected must sign a two-year service agreement to work in a medically underserved area of California.

 

NEHA/AAS/APU Scholarship Awards

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be either undergraduate or graduate students. The undergraduate scholarships are to be used during the junior or senior year at an Environmental Health Accreditation Council (EHAC) or NEHA member school. The graduate scholarship is available to applicants who are enrolled in a graduate program of study in environmental health sciences and/or public health and have at least one semester of coursework remaining.

 

Steven G. King Play Environments Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicants must be landscape architecture graduate students or upperclass undergraduate students. They must be enrolled at a college or university that has been accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB). They must have a demonstrated interest in designing play environments. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

VSA International Young Soloists Awards

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 8

Applicants must be instrumentalists or vocalists between the ages of 14 and 25 years of age and have physical or mental disabilities that limit one or more of their major life activities. Applicants need to include audio or videocassette recordings of three musical selections along with a one-page biography explaining why they feel they should be selected for the award. Awards are based on technique, tone, intonation, rhythm and interpretation from the taped performances.

 

Airmen Memorial Foundation Scholarship Program

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicants must be dependents of Air Force enlisted personnel who are attending high school or college. They must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and be accepted to the college of their choice.

 

Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty

Award: -, Deadline: None

Applicants must have an Honorable Discharge and high school diploma and meet other service requirements. The bill provides up to 36 months of educational benefits to veterans for college, technical or vocational courses, correspondence courses, apprenticeship/job training or flight training, high-tech training, licensing and certification tests, entrepreneurship training and certain entrance examinations. In most cases the award must be used within 10 years of being discharged.

 

Rockwell Collins Scholarship

Applicants must be sophomores, juniors or seniors who are majoring in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering technology or computer science. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a four-point scale. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

SASS Scholarship Foundation Scholarships

Applicants must be a high school senior or college undergraduate, have at least a 2.0 GPA and have been active in SASS for at least one year. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership, character, extracurricular activities and commitment to cowboy action shooting.

 

Mary Gunther Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must be female rising undergraduate freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors who intend to major in engineering at an ABET-accredited school. They must be full-time students who have a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale. Preference will be given to students majoring in architectural engineering or environmental engineering. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Resume Companion $1,000 Scholarship

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in a U.S. college or university and must write a resume about a fictional or non-fictional character from the past or present.

 

Jean Charley-Call Nursing Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: August 30

Applicants must be enrolled members of the Hopi Indian tribe and be full-time students who are pursuing a degree in nursing at an accredited college or university. They must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

SMART Scholarship

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, 18 or older, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be able to participate in summer internships at the Department of Defense (DoD) and be willing to accept post-graduate work at the DoD. The award includes payment of full tuition, a stipend, a book allowance and room and board.

 

CAPA Awards

Award: $5,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicants must be U.S. legal residents. They must be age 18 or older. They must be students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college, university or trade school located in California. They must be enrolled on an at least part-time basis. They must submit a video, audio recording, written opinion piece, Facebook marketing plan or Twitter marketing plan that addresses the ecological and societal effects of overpopulation in California. Selection is based on message delivery, creativity, factual accuracy and originality.

 

SEA Scholarship

Award: $3,500, Deadline: April 30

Students must be in high school through graduate level studies, have at least a 3.2 GPA, be a U.S. citizen and be pursuing environmental studies/sciences. Selection is based on goals, community service and involvement and academic excellence.

 

Ray M. Greenly Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 3

Applicants must be nominated by a university or college with a current NRF Student Association group and have high academic achievements as well as a strong interest in retail. Students must be current sophomores or juniors with a minimum 3.0 GPA and enrolled as full-time students at NRF Foundation University Partner Schools. Selection is based on demonstrating leadership ability within the retail industry, an intense work ethic and the ability to embrace change and innovation, work as a team player and exemplify the highest moral character.

 

Naqvi Injury Law Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 30

Applicants must be currently enrolled in post-high school institution or graduate school and must submit an original essay with a minimum of 500 words on how driving and texting has affected your life or an experience of how it has impacted someone you know. Applicants must supply a financial aid report showing the household's income status. Official transcripts must accompany applications. Letters of recommendation and/or resumes are encouraged but not required. Selection is based on financial need, although standards of achievement are also considered. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

 

Grasshopper Entrepreneur Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicants must attend an accredited American college, university or trade school. An essay of 500-700 words on the entrepreneurial-related topic provided is required.
