Eric Robert Anderson Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be a paid member of Art Students League, and be enrolled full-time. Applicant must submits resume and artist's statement, three letters of recommendation, and at least five slides of five separate works.

 

Art Endowed Scholarship

Award: $400, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and submit three slides of current work to the Art Department.

 

Charles Beardsley Undergraduate Endowed Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled in at least 15 credits, and major in Art or Music or minor in Native American Studies.

 

Charles Beardsley Endowed Art Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, be enrolled full-time, and submit three slides of current work to the Art Department.

Fine Arts Scholarships

Selection is based upon high school record: GPA, difficulty of courses, class rank, and SAT or ACT scores. Audition or portfolio presentations for those applying to the Departments of Art, Music and Theatre are required. Talent may influence the award amount.

 

Achievement Scholarship for Art, Design and Crafts

Award: $9,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must have a minimum SAT score of 1800 (minimum composite ACT score of 26), have a "B+" average, and be enrolled in an art or design and crafts program. Applicant must be admitted and enrolled at RIT full-time immediately following graduation from high school.

 

President's Scholarship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be nominated by the high school they attend in Canada. Awards students of academic distinction who have made contributions to their school and communities, and demonstrate the potential to become leaders in society.

 

Community Entrance Award

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA who has made significant contributions to their school and community, has demonstrated excellence in athletics and/or the arts, and has distinguished themselves as a leader. Preference is given to students living outside the Lower Mainland.

 

Laheenae Rebecca Hart Gay Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 19

Applicant must major in art. Scholarship is not for those majoring in video, film, performing arts or the culinary arts.

Hopson-Laurent Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 10

Applicant must be a graduate of a public or private high school in Choctaw County, OK, who plans to pursue studies in architecture, art, or forestry. Applicant must have been accepted for enrollment or enrolled in a two- or four-year undergraduate program at an accredited college or university.

 

Leora Frances Brunk McDaniel Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a female graduating senior from Jefferson High School in Portland, Oregon who is studying art or music, or attending a college or art, letters, or science. FAFSA required.

 

Allen L. Keeney Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior of Rock Springs High School looking to further their education in the study of art.

 

Technical Training Fund

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of an Oregon high school who demonstrates extraordinary technical or artistic potential in the areas of craftsmanship, manual skills, art, music, culinary arts, or other related areas. FAFSA required.

 

Troy Yost Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior of any Wyoming high school who will be attending the University of Wyoming or other in-state junior and community colleges and pursuing a degree in art. Selection based upon academic record and achievement, financial need, and participation in community and extra-curricular activities. Financial aid and recommendation from art teacher are required.

 

Jack F. and Edith Updyke Harmon Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Tennessee High School in Bristol, TN; Virginia High School, and John S. Battle High School, both in Bristol, VA; Sullivan Central High School in Blountville, TN; or Bland High School in Bland, VA. Applicant must be pursuing full-time enrollment at one of the following institutions: Emory & Henry College, King College, East Tennessee State University, or the University of Tennessee College of Agriculture in Knoxville. Financial aid and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Psi Iota Xi, Omega Chapter- Malpas Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a female graduating senior from Lebanon High School who ranks in the top third of her class and will pursue post secondary education in art, literature, music or speech and hearing. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Arts Council of Gibson County Scholarship

Award: $2,040, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Gibson County high school planning to pursue a two- or four-year degree at an accredited college or university in the field of art, drama, or music. Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.

 

Joseph B. Campbell Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Boonville High School pursuing a college education in art or music or having demonstrated an aptitude in art or music.

 

Fern Cousineau Duncan Art Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior of a Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan County high school who is pursuing art as a career. Financial need must be demonstrated. Portfolio of minimum 10 pieces required.

 

Judith Butler Van Valer Scholarship

Applicant must be a current or past graduate of Greenwood Community High School or a high school in Marion or Hamilton County who plans to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university and major in the arts or education.

 

The Chandler Scholarship

Applicant must be majoring in art. Selection based upon portfolio, SAT Reasoning/ACT score, essay, and interview. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.
