Tau Alpha Lambda Business Scholarship

Applicant must be an active Tau Alpha Lambda member and a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least nine semester hours (undergraduate) or six semester hours (graduate), have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA (undergraduate) or 3.8 cumulative GPA (graduate), have completed at least six semester hours of business at Texas A&M U - Texarkana and have a minimum 3.0 GPA (undergraduate) or 3.5 GPA (graduate) in accounting, economics, finance, management, management information systems, and marketing courses at Texas A&M U - Texarkana, and be a resident of Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, or Texas residing in school's service area.

Applicant must be a resident of Scioto County, Ohio, and must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and an expected federal family contribution of $1,500 to $4,000. FAFSA is required.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident and a minority student enrolled in full-time studies leading to a bachelor's degree at an accredited college or university in the U.S. and have a minimum 3.25 GPA. Selection is based upon academic performance, performance in business- or engineering-related subjects, likelihood of pursuing a career in business or engineering, writing ability, extracurricular activities, and community involvement. Application form, college transcript, three letters of reference, and personal statement (300-word maximum) describing professional and career goals.
