SPAB Lethaby Scholarship

Award: $7,000, Deadline: December 1

Award is for nine-month building conservation training in the UK. Selection is based upon application and interview in London. Award is in British Pounds Sterling.

 

Structural Engineering Traveling Fellowship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: December 9

Applicant must be nominated by his or her school, be graduating with a master's or doctoral degree, and submit a paper and travel plan. Applicant must specialize in structural engineering. Award is for post-graduation travel and study.

 

O.H. Ammann Research Fellowship in Structural Engineering

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 1

Applicant must be a National ASCE member in good standing. Award is to encourage the creation of new knowledge in the field of structural design and construction.

 

Cohos Evamy Partners Design Competition

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, have a minimum 2.8 GPA, and plan a career in structural engineering. Selection is based upon performance in the annual structural design competition. Award is in Canadian dollars.

 

Northrop Grumman Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 28

Applicant must be a female full-time student at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Engineering. Focus on one of the following disciplines is required: civil and materials, electrical and computer, computer science, or mechanical engineering. Applicant must show evidence of above average academic performance (minimum GPA 3.0/4.0). Women of color (African American, Latina, Native American) are encouraged to apply. Application coversheet, biographical statement, current resume or CV (list your education and employment history), UIC transcript, proof of financial aid eligibility, proof of U.S. citizenship (copy of birth certificate or passport), and two letters of recommendation (include at least one from a UIC instructor) required.

 

IPSCO Inc. Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: February 15 (FAFSA); March 1 (scholarship)

Selection is based upon academic achievement and financial need.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Steve Utt Scholarship

Award: $265, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Hancock County high school who will pursue a two- or four-year degree in architecture, building trades, drafting, structural engineering, or another building trade-related field at a college or university in Indiana.

 

Richard H. Crosser Memorial Scholarship

Award: $313, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Mt. Vernon High School who will attend a college or university in Indiana in pursuit of a two- or four-year degree in accounting, architecture, building trades, business, drafting, finance, real estate or structural engineering. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

DEW Superintendents Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 9

Applicant must be a resident of Vermont who will pursue education or training in civil or structural engineering or construction management. Financial need, community involvement/service and education/work ethic must be demonstrated.

 

Structural Engineering Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: October 1

Applicant must be a full-time college student who is working toward a degree in a field related to structural engineering. Involvement in at least one extracurricular activity and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Wire Reinforcement Institute Education Foundation High School Senior Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicant must be a high school senior who is enrolled in an accredited four-year college/university in the United States or Canada pursuing a degree in structural or civil engineering. Transcript and two letters of recommendation required.

 

Wire Reinforcement Institute Education Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicants must be entering their sophomore year or higher and have declared a major in civil or structural engineering. Students must be enrolled for at least 12 credits per semester at a four-year educational institution. Selection is primarily based on academic achievement, career goals and extracurricular involvement.

 

Wire Reinforcement Institute Education Foundation Graduate Student Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: April 15

Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a graduate program at an accredited educational institution in the U.S. or Canada. Selection is primarily based on academic achievement, career goals and extracurricular involvement. Applicants must maintain at least twelve credit hours per semester.

 

Structural Engineering/Architecture Student Scholarship
