Paul and Ivy Beardslee Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student graduating from Bryan County High School who plans to major in information systems. Bryan County High School graduates who plan to major in accounting, computer science, economics, finance, information technology, logistics, management, or marketing may also be considered. Selection is based upon academic record, relevant extracurricular activities, and potential for success in the major.

 

Scarlett Family Foundation Scholarship

Award: $15,000, Deadline: December 15

Applicant must be a high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior who will graduate or have graduated from high school in Middle Tennessee and will be enrolling in a four-year not-for-profit college or university. Applicant must be a business major or STEM major and be able to demonstrate financial need. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

NABA National Scholarship Program

Award: $10,000, Deadline: January 31

Applicant must be a current or potential member of NABA of ethnic minority, be enrolled full-time in an United States college or university, and meet a minimum GPA. Personal statement, resume, two letters of recommendation and an essay are required to be submitted.

 

Pilot Oil Corp. Minority Scholarship

Award: $1,500, Deadline: January 15

Applicant must be a full-time, minority undergraduate. Preference is given, in the following order, to residents of Knoxville area, Tenn., East Tennessee area, elsewhere in Tennessee, southeastern U.S., or other region.

 

National City Bank Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of Scioto County and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Leroy Bacon Memorial Scholarship

Ritchie-Sennings Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student (enrolled in at least 12 semester hours, or equivalent per term) at an accredited four-year college or university pursing a declared major in either accounting, business and finance, or criminal science. Junior college, community college, and high school students including graduating seniors are not eligible to apply. Application, official transcript, three letters of recommendation (including one from a Certified Fraud Examiner or local Association chapter), original essay explaining why applicant deserves the scholarship, and how fraud awareness will affect his or her professional career development, are required to be submitted.

 

Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarship

Applicant must rank in the top 15% of class and demonstrate leadership skills.

 

W. Allan Herzog Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: May 18

Applicant must be a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon who is enrolled full time and has a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA. Applicant should have a record of leadership within his chapter and campus organizations. Preference is given to members of Nu chapter.

 

Public Employee Retirement Research and Administration Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: Late February

Applicant must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident, have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, submit recommendation from advisor or dean, and be planning a career in state/local finance with a focus on public sector retirement benefits.

 

Public Investor Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident, have a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and submit recommendation from advisor or dean.

 

Glenn Whaley Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: January 16

Applicant must be a North Carolina or South Carolina resident and a full-time student, be articulate, have a minimum 3.7 GPA, demonstrate involvement in university outside activities with leadership ability, and have a connection between studies, job plans, and extracurricular activities with future plans well thought out in the field of finance.

 

M.S. Finance Fellows Scholarship

Applicant must be a promising student entering the M.S. Finance program.

 

South Lorain Merchants Association Scholarship

Applicant must be a high school senior who is planning to major in business or finance. Three letters of recommendation and essay discussing "what I plan to do with my education" are required to be submitted. FAFSA and Student Aid Report are required as well.
