Young Professionals International

Award: $12,000, Deadline: May 1

Applicant must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has recently graduated or is about to graduate from an institution which is a member of or affiliated with AUCC. Applicants who are presently studying in the United States are not eligible.

 

Florida Bankers Educational Foundation Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 15; May 15; August 15; November 15

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, take 12 credits hours a year and be attending one of the FBEF's participating universities. Applicant must plan to work at a Florida bank after graduation.

 

Bank One Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be from the Tri-state area with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

 

Raymond H. Trott Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: June 10

Applicant must be a minority student, who is a Rhode Island resident, entering his/her senior year at an accredited college, with plans to pursue a career in banking.

 

Patricia Collins Amaral Memorial Fund

Award: $600, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

Wells Fargo American Indian Scholarship

Award: -, Deadline: April 27

Applicant must be an enrolled member of a United States federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, as verified through submission of the AIGC Tribal Eligibility Certificate. Applicant must be a full-time college junior or senior at an accredited college or university who is pursuing a career in fields relating to banking, resort management, gaming operations, and management/administration (including accounting, finance, information technology, and/or human resources). Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need required.

 

Paul Sumerall Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: September 9

Applicant must be an undergraduate or college student or researcher who demonstrates an interest in the money transfer and remittance industry and who conducts/participates in studies in fields directly related to the international transfer of funds in any country in the world.
