APIASF/Sara Lee Foundation

Award: $2,500, Deadline: January 13

Applicant must be a female U.S. citizen, national or legal permanent resident of Asian and/or Pacific Islander ethnicity (as defined by the U.S. Census) who is from Alabama, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Wisconsin, and will be enrolling in an accredited college or university as a full-time, degree-seeking, first-year student in the upcoming academic year. Minimum 2.7 cumulative GPA required (or GED).

 

Stepping-Stone Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Knox or Laurel County, KY, who is planning to enroll as a full-time student at an accredited, public or private, not-for-profit college or university. Financial need is required.

 

Riedford Health Professions Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Mt. Vernon High School who will major in a healthcare-related field at a two- or four-year college or university in Indiana, Western Kentucky, or Wabash Valley College in Southeastern Illinois. Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA required.

 

Lawrenceburg Kiwanis Club Scholarship

Award: $250, Deadline: January 9

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Dearborn County who will enroll full-time at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in Indiana, Kentucky or Ohio. Essay and minimum 2.75 GPA required.

 

Marvin Johnson Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a child or spouse of a trucking company employee or an independent contractor affiliated with a trucking company who will attend an accredited four-year college or university in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan or Ohio.

Applicant must be an entering freshman student who is not a resident of South Carolina.

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is not a resident of Florida.

 

Anthony Munoz Foundation Scholarship Fund

Award: $20,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a student enrolled in or entering an accredited Tri-State college or university who graduated high school with a minimum 2.5 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 18. Applicant must have attended a high school in the Tri-State region and be able to demonstrate a desire and intent to overcome adversity, have financial need, excel academically, and fulfill a leadership role in the community.

 

Provost Scholarship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32).

 

Academic Council Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Excellence Award

Award: $52,000, Deadline: February 1 (priority)

Applicant must be a resident of Kentucky with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum composite ACT score of 32.

 

Founders Award

Presidential Scholarship

Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarships

Applicants must be high school seniors or college freshmen or sophomores who are residents of Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia. Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for high school seniors or 2.75 for college students. Selection is based on academic excellence, community involvement, leadership skills, awards and honors and financial need.

 

Business and Professional Women of Kentucky Foundation Grant

Applicants must be Kentucky residents who are at least 18 years of age. They must be employed or planning a career in the Kentucky workforce and attending an institution of higher learning. Individuals may receive a grant no more than once every 24 months. Deadlines are April 30 and October 31 of each year.

 

Shook Construction Harry F. Gaeke Memorial Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: February 5

Applicants must be U.S. citizens either living in or attending school in Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana. They must be in at least the second year of an undergraduate degree program that is related to construction and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Vaughn Williamson Scholarship

Applicants must be Kentucky high school students who are active members of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). They must intend to major in family and consumer sciences at a Kentucky college or university and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. They must exhibit leadership, integrity and good manners. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application. The award is given every four years.

 

Curwen-Guidry-Blackburn Scholarship Fund

Award: $750, Deadline: March 15

Students must be high school seniors and currently bowling in a USBC Certified Youth League. Students must reside in a Southern Bowling Congress member state which includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas. Applicants must have bowled in a USBC Certified Youth League three of four years in high school and have bowled 75 percent of the league schedule. Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale and achieved an ACT composite score of 20 or SAT composite score of 1410.
