Middle Class Scholarship Program for California State University, Los Angeles

Award: $4,500, Deadline: March 2

The Middle Class Scholarship (MCS) program provides funding to help middle-class students attend the University of California or California State University. Applicants must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application by March 2 of each year. Family income and household assets must be under $150,000 per year to qualify for this scholarship. The California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) and school financial aid office will determine the actual amount each student receives. Applicants must be enrolled in a Bay Area college or university. Those students attending college out of state must have graduated from a Bay Area high school. Applicants must be studying photojournalism in one of the following: television, radio, print or multimedia.

They must be sponsored by a member of the Advertising Club of Connecticut. NADCA Indiana Chapter 25 Scholarship

Applicants must be residents of Indiana or of a state that is adjacent to Indiana. They must be enrolled at an Indiana school or at a Foundry Educational Foundation (FEF) member school located in a state that is adjacent to Indiana. They must have prior work experience in manufacturing, the die casting industry or the cast metal industry. Preference will be given to applicants who are studying a subject that is related to the die casting industry. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
