Applicants must be U.S. citizens who are at least 17 years old as of September 1 of their first year of college, no older than 23 on June 30 of that first year and must be younger than 27 at the time of anticipated graduation. Students must attend an NROTC college and have no moral or personal convictions against military service. Those interested in the Navy program, including Nurse-option, must have an SAT critical reading score of 530 and a math score of 520 or an ACT score of 22 in English and 22 in math. For the Marine Corps option, students must have an SAT composite score of 1000 or an ACT composite score of 22. Applicants must also meet all Navy or Marine Corps physical standards.

The award includes an opportunity to intern with the news division of Univision or an affiliate. Applicants must be full-time undergraduate or graduate students nominated by a faculty member who is also a member of the ACI. Students must be studying engineering, construction management or another relevant field. Applicants may live anywhere in the world, but actual study must take place in the U.S. or Canada. Finalists for a fellowship must attend an ACI convention for an interview. In addition to the monetary award, the scholarship also includes conference fees, mentoring and a potential internship.

Applicants who are registered nurses must have a current license to practice as an RN, have more than a high school diploma and be currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing degree program in a school of nursing recognized by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Applicants who are not registered nurses must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate nursing degree program in a school of nursing recognized by the National League for Nursing or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Non-RN applicants must be in the nursing component of the program and must have an interest in and commitment to oncology nursing. At least one Bachelor Scholarship is available to a non-RN applicant living in Ohio and West Virginia. There is a $5 application fee.

Applicants must be attending a California undergraduate nursing program and be fluent in a language other than English. Financial need, work experience, academic achievement and community involvement are considered. A two-year service agreement to work in a medically underserved area of California is required. Preference is given to those who expect to graduate within two years and to those who plan to remain in a medically underserved area after the service agreement has expired. Applicant must have minimum 2.0 GPA.

There are three student financial aid programs: The Florida Public Student Assistance Grant is for students who attend state universities and public community colleges. The Florida Private Student Assistance Grant is for students who attend eligible private, non-profit, four-year colleges and universities. The Florida Postsecondary Student Assistance Grant is for students who attend eligible degree-granting private colleges and universities that are ineligible under the Florida Private Student Assistance Grant. High school students in the top 20 percent of their classes receive priority funding.

They must be ASME student members who are in good standing. Selection is based on leadership, integrity and potential contribution to the field of mechanical engineering.

Students must enroll in a North Dakota public institution of higher learning and earn their degree or certificate within 45 months or ten semesters.

Projects may fit into one of the following categories: home, recreational or artistic equipment; shop tool, machine or mechanical device; a structure; agricultural equipment or a repair. Applicants must submit a paper about the creation of the project and be enrolled in a shop class. Applicants must also be enrolled in high school, adult evening classes, two-year/community college, vocational school, apprentice program, trade school, in-plant training or technical school and may not be college students enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program.
