Conservatory Talent Award

Award: $16,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicant must be pursuing a degree within the Shenandoah Conservatory. Selection is based upon application for admission, audition, and needs of the conservatory. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 900 (composite ACT score of 19).

 

Jacynthia V. Calaway Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Whiteland Community High School who will pursue education in the field of art, drama, or music.

 

Charles Owen 'Corky' McCormick IV Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Johnson County high school who resides in Johnson County and will major in music or theatre full-time at a two- or four-year college or university. Minimum 2.75 GPA required.

 

Leslie B. Durst Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: April 30

Applicant must be a graduate of the Vancouver School for Arts and Academics who will pursue an education in the arts.

 

Nathalie Ackerman Endowed Theater Arts Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a theater arts major at Hofstra University entering their senior year who has exhibited great talent. Financial need and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Alpha Psi Omega Honorary Endowed Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be an undergradaute at Hofstra University majoring or minoring in drama.

 

Donald Nelson Barnes Endowed Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be an entering freshman at Hofstra University who is majoring in drama and has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement.
