Columbus Herb Society Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or high school graduate residing in Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Jennings, Johnson or Shelby County who plans to study full-time at an accredited college or university in the field of botany, culinary arts, horticulture, or a related area.

 

Goldie Gibson Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 16

Applicant must be a graduate of a Bartholomew, Brown, Decatur, Jackson, Johnson or Shelby County high school who was a Head Start participant and will attend an accredited post-secondary institution.

 

OPTIONS Scholarship Fund

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 2

Applicant must be a resident of Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan or Shelby County who will attend a college or university in Indiana. Financial need and academic promise must be demonstrated.

 

The Beeson Scholarship Fund

Award: $10,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who will enroll full-time in a four-year degree program. Financial need and minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Marie M. Borden Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who will pursue a four-year full-time program in music or music education. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Clarence 'Buck' Boyce, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school, Perry Meridian High School, Franklin Central High School or those involved with welding trades at Central Nine Career Center who plans to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

Karl Bradlyn Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school, Beech Grove High School or Perry Meridian High School who has a physical or learning disability and will enroll full-time at an accredited college or university. Financial need and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Dr. James Dixon Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Johnson County resident who is pursuing a baccalaureate degree at an accredited college or university.

 

EAA Chapter 1354 Aviation Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who will pursue a full-time associate or baccalaureate course of study at Purdue University - School of Aviation, Vincennes University, Indiana State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University or University of Illinois and planning a career as a commercial pilot, transport pilot, airport administration or aeronautical engineering.

 

Sertoma Club of Greenwood, Dr. Robert L. Hamill Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who will pursue a full-time baccalaureate course of study at an accredited college or university in the field of biochemistry, chemistry, or microbiology.

 

Kenneth Wayne Himsel Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who has participated in 4-H/FFA and community service, and will enroll full-time as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Allen E. Grotke Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a current or past graduate of a Johnson County high school who is pursuing a business-related, human resources or legal degree full-time at an accredited college or university. Minimum 2.0 GPA required.

 

Johnson County Fair Board Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: June 30

Applicant must be a 10-year member of 4-H who will enroll full-time at an accredited post-secondary education.

 

Mitzi Harris Martin Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a resident of Johnson County pursuing advance education or certification in the long-term healthcare field.

 

Maurice 'Mo' Hughes McCarty Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who will major in the field of agriculture full-time at an accredited college or university in Indiana.

 

Charles Owen 'Corky' McCormick IV Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Johnson County high school who resides in Johnson County and will major in music or theatre full-time at a two- or four-year college or university. Minimum 2.75 GPA required.

 

Blair Parsley Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a Johnson County high school who will study aviation at an accredited college or university in Indiana. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

 

Psi Iota XI Judy Georges Memorial Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a high school graduate who resides in the school districts of Whiteland, Center Grove or Greenwood and plans to major in education or speech/hearing.

 

Union Township Alumni Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who resides in Union Township and will enroll in post-secondary education. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

 

Hugh and Eleanor Andrews Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must be a graduate of a Johnson County high school who will attend Franklin College.

 

Ella Pitcher Berry Endowed Scholarship

Award: $3,000, Deadline: December 1

Applicant must enroll at Franklin College. Preference given to descendants of Ella Berry and then to residents of Hensley or Needham Township in Johnson County, IN.
