Out-of-State Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 1 (Priority)

Applicant must be an incoming freshman who is not a resident of Virginia.

 

Gold Scholarship

Award: $8,500, Deadline: March 15 (Priority)

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who does not reside in Delaware. Selection based upon outstanding academic achievement.

 

Silver Scholarship

Award: $6,500, Deadline: March 15 (Priority)

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who is not a resident of Delaware. Selection based upon above average academic achievement.

 

Out of State Access Grant

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student who is not a resident of Florida.

 

Provost Scholarship

Award: $20,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32).

 

Academic Council Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Award: $7,500, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Brad's Deals Scholarship Competition

Award: $2,000, Deadline: June 15

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and high school senior or undergraduate student who is 18 years of age or older. Minimum 3.0 GPA and essay required. Not open to residents of Rhode Island or Tennessee.

Rosemary and Nellie Ebrie Foundation

Applicants must be residents of the Island of Hawaii and be of Hawaiian or part-Hawaiian ancestry. Applicants must also submit a four-sheet application and financial form, personal statement, recommendations and transcript.

 

Hawaii High School Athletic Association Hall of Honor

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 6

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors and athletes in any organized sport in Hawaii. Selection is based primarily on sports achievements. Factors considered include contributions to the team, sportsmanship, character, participation in school activities and community involvement.

 

Mamoru and Aiko Takitani Foundation Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: February 1

Applicants must be graduating high school seniors and Hawaii residents. Applicants must also demonstrate scholastic achievement, participation in activities and have been accepted into an accredited institution. Community service and financial need are also considered.

 

Prince Kuhio Hawaiian Civic Club Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: April 1

Applicants must be high school seniors or current college students from Hawaii. Preference is given to students who have some Hawaiian ancestry and have participated in community service or volunteer work. Studies of Hawaiian language, studies and culture, journalism and education are encouraged. Applicants must enroll full-time at a two- or four-year institution.

 

California - Hawaii Elks Major Project Undergraduate Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities

Award: $2,000, Deadline: March 15

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and California or Hawaii residents who have a physical, neurological, visual or hearing impairment or a speech/language disorder. They must be high school seniors or graduates or have passed the GED or California High School Proficiency Examination.

 

Hawaii Association of Broadcasters Scholarship

Applicants must be high school seniors or undergraduate students and attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university or broadcast school in the U.S. full-time. Students must also have a 2.5 GPA or higher and intend to work in the broadcast industry in Hawaii upon completion of their education.

 

Clem Judd, Jr., Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be a resident of Hawaii, be able to prove Hawaiian ancestry and be a junior or senior enrolled full-time at a U.S. university or college.

 

California - Hawaii Elks Association Vocational Grants

Award: $2,000, Deadline: 3 months after application is received

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and California or Hawaii residents. They must plan to pursue a vocational or technical course of study above and supplemental to high school or preparatory school. A high school diploma or equivalent is not required. Students planning to transfer into a bachelor's degree program upon completion of vocational studies are not eligible.

 

PPN Scholarship for Book and Cover Design

Award: $1,000, Deadline: May 24

Applicants must be enrolled in a college, university or technical school in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington or Wyoming and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Selection is based on book and cover design projects.

 

Mine and Gonsakulto Scholarship

Applicants must be District 8 student members of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) who are of Asian descent. They must be enrolled in an undergraduate- or graduate-level athletic training program. Community college applicants and all other applicants must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher on a four-point scale. Non-community college undergraduates must be sponsored by a certified athletic trainer and must have junior standing. All applicants must have plans to pursue a career in athletic training. Selection is based on academic merit, extracurricular activities, leadership potential and athletic training achievement.

 

Charles R. Hemenway Memorial Scholarship

Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be Hawaii residents and have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Applicants must also be enrolled at least half-time at any of the campuses of the University of Hawaii. Selection is based on character and "qualities of good citizenship."

 

Tweet Coleman Aviation Scholarship

Applicants must be a female living in Hawaii (your only residence is here) or stationed in Hawaii with the military. Applicants must also be a college graduate (associate degree or higher) or currently enrolled in a college or university in Hawaii. Women from out of state attending a college in Hawaii are eligible. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.

 

Ukulele Festival Hawaii's College Scholarship Program
