Wyoming Trucking Association Trust Fund Scholarship

Award: $1,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a Wyoming high school graduate, enrolled at a Wyoming university, community college, or approved trade school, planning to pursue a course of study leading to a career in the highway transportation industry.

 

Lydia I. Pickup Memorial Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 15

Applicant must be a woman, have a minimum 3.5 GPA, and attend an ABET-accredited engineering program, engineering at SWE-approved colleges and universities, or computer science in a CSAB-accredited program or at an ABET-accredited or SWE-approved institution. Award is for education to advance applicant's career in engineering or computer science.

Applicant must be a senior who has a minimum 3.0 GPA and who has demonstrated the finest qualities of leadership through participation in campus organizations and has rendered service of significant benefit to the campus community.

 

Alumni Association Scholarship

Applicant must demonstrate community leadership and have met the award criteria established by the Alumni Association's Scholarship Committee. Applicant must have completed 12 credits last semester and 24 credits at Bridgewater State College as of December 31. Applicants who have transferred from Massachusetts Community Colleges, Dean College, or Quincy College are eligible to apply.

 

ASCO Numatics Industrial Automation Engineering Scholarship

Award: $5,000, Deadline: March 31

Applicant must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering, instrumentation, systems, electrical, mechanical, or automation discipline at an accredited United States educational institution for the upcoming academic year. At the time of application, applicant must have completed at least their sophomore year in a bachelor's degree program have a minimum 3.2 GPA, and be a United States citizen or legal United States resident. Selection will be based on applicant's potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the engineering, instrumentation, systems, electrical, mechanical, and automation professions, particularly as they relate to the application of fluid control and fluid power technology.

 

Howard and Genevieve (Martin) Libby Scholarship

Applicant must be full time second year Bachelor of Engineering student, accepted into the mechanical engineering discipline for their third year. Minimum 2.0 GPA with no failures on most recent evaluations are required.

 

The New American Scholarship and Internship Program

Award: $3,000, Deadline: November 15

Applicant must be a Latino student enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited four-year college or university who is seeking a degree in business, engineering (all disciplines), computer science/computer engineering, information systems/decision sciences, mathematics/statistics/sciences. Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Selection based up on academic performance, essay responses, extra-curricular/interests/community service, demonstrated leadership, communication/interpersonal skills, and work experience. Program provides a combination of scholarship assistance and a possible structured, multi-year internship for Latino college students. The internships are designed to work with major corporations, and at the same time, provide students with a pathway to high-level careers in the private sector.

 

GAAS Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or have a graduated from high school who is currently or will be enrolled in a full-time college-level program or an ASE/NATEF certified post secondary automotive technical program in the United States or Canada.

 

Robert Ress Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Tell City High School who is pursuing post-secondary vocational education or specific career training. Financial need and a strong academic record must be demonstrated.

 

Pike Central Vocational Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Pike Central High School who plans to pursue post-secondary vocational education. Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Eastern Hancock, Greenfield-Central, or Mt. Vernon High School who plans to attend a college, university, or vocational/technical school to study a trade- or technology-based vocation.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Greenfield-Central High School who plans to continue their education at a vocational school, business college, or junior college in pursuit of a certification or two-year degree.

 

David and Barbara Kruse Paw Paw High School Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior or graduate of Paw Paw High School who is enrolled or planning to enroll in a technical school trade school or community college in a course of study that will lead to a career in the field of technology (e.g. auto technician, graphic design, information or manufacturing technology). Minimum 2.0 GPA, extracurricular or community volunteer activities, and work experience are required.

California - Hawaii Elks Association Vocational Grants

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and California or Hawaii residents. They must plan to pursue a vocational or technical course of study above and supplemental to high school or preparatory school. A high school diploma or equivalent is not required. Students planning to transfer into a bachelor's degree program upon completion of vocational studies are not eligible.

 

Texas Elks State Association Vocational Grant Program

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and Texas residents 18 years of age or older. They must plan to enroll full-time in a two-year or less vocational or technical program that results in a certificate, diploma or associates degree.

 

TOPS Tech Award

Applicants must be Louisiana residents, apply during their senior year in a public high school and pursue an industry-based occupational or vocational credential in a public college or university that meets certain standards. They must also have a minimum 2.0 GPA Score, at least 15 on the English and Mathematics subsections of the ACT PLAN Assessment, have at least minimum passing scores in English and Mathematics on the GEE and have prepared a 5-year education and career plan.

 

Louis B. Russell Scholarship
