Morency Foster Youth Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating senior who has been in foster care for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the start of their post-secondary education and has a tie to the CFGRB service area in Iowa or Illinois.

 

Sophia N. Hapke Scholarship Fund

Award: $8,750, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a high school in Davenport, IA who plan to attend an accredited post-secondary institution in the U.S. Minimum 3.25 GPA required.

 

Ted & Eloise Pfeiff Scholarship

Award: $4,000, Deadline: March 1

Applicant must be a graduating senior from a public school in Davenport, Bettendorf or Pleasant Valley School Districts who will pursue a degree in education full-time at a local community college or the University of Northern Iowa, Iowa State University, or the State University of Iowa. Financial need must be demonstrated.

Col V Thomas Considine Scholarship

Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who is a member of the 185th Iowa Air National Guard, or the child or legal dependent of a currently active or retired member.

 

College Opportunity Scholarship

Award: $500, Deadline: February 29

Applicant must be a student who is graduating from a Linn County high school and plans to pursue a degree at a college or university in Iowa. Selection based upon financial need, demonstrated career goals, and participation in extracurricular activities.

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 3.75 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1400 (composite ACT score of 32).

 

Academic Council Scholarship

Award: $10,000, Deadline: November 15 (Early Action admissions deadline)

Applicant must be an out-of-state student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

 

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident with a minimum 2.0 GPA and minimum SAT Reasoning score of 1150 (composite ACT score of 25).

 

Iowa Financial Know-How Challenge: Senior Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: February 17

Applicant must be a high school senior in Iowa who plans to attend college next fall. To qualify, applicant must complete two online financial literacy tutorials and an online financial literacy assessment. The applicants who score the highest on the assessment test will receive a scholarship sent directly to their college or university.
