Applicant must be a master's student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas graduate college pursuing a degree in astronomy, chemistry, geoscience, or physics. Recipient must remain in good standing in degree program and complete a minimum of six graduate credits each semester of the scholarship year.

Applicant must be a graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas who is now enrolled full-time in a doctoral degree program. BLET Auxiliary Scholarships

Applicants must be the children of both a BLET Auxiliary and BLET member (living or deceased) and enrolled or accepted by an accredited university, college or institute of higher learning. If the applicant is a graduate student or returning to school as a sophomore, junior or senior, he or she must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Selection is based on academic record, leadership, character and personal achievement.

 

Governor Guinn Millennium Scholarship Program

Applicants must graduate from a Nevada public or private high school with a GPA of 3.25 or higher, pass all areas of the Nevada High School Proficiency Exam and have been a resident of Nevada for at least two years in high school.

 

Sons of Italy Grand Lodge of California College Scholarship

Applicants must be District 8 student members of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) who are of Asian descent. They must be enrolled in an undergraduate- or graduate-level athletic training program. Community college applicants and all other applicants must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher on a four-point scale. Non-community college undergraduates must be sponsored by a certified athletic trainer and must have junior standing. All applicants must have plans to pursue a career in athletic training. Selection is based on academic merit, extracurricular activities, leadership potential and athletic training achievement.

 

Theodore D. Harrington Scholarship

Applicants must have a permanent residence in the NACE Western Area which includes the following states: Arizona, California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. Applicants must take courses offered by an accredited college or university or programs approved by the area upon application. Selection is based on the overall strength of information provided by the applicant.

 

Nevada Women's Fund Scholarships

Award: $5,000, Deadline: February 27

Northern Nevada residents and those attending northern Nevada schools receive preference. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited two or four year degree or certifying program, will take a minimum of 6 to 8 credits per semester and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

 

Naqvi Injury Law Scholarship

Award: $2,000, Deadline: May 30

Applicants must be currently enrolled in post-high school institution or graduate school and must submit an original essay with a minimum of 500 words on how driving and texting has affected your life or an experience of how it has impacted someone you know. Applicants must supply a financial aid report showing the household's income status. Official transcripts must accompany applications. Letters of recommendation and/or resumes are encouraged but not required. Selection is based on financial need, although standards of achievement are also considered. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

 

DL English Design PAVE Scholarship

Award: $2,500, Deadline: March 1

Applicants must be enrolled in a program working towards a degree in the retail design industry. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in at least 12 credit hours. Students must be studying within the following states: Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah or Washington.
